Day 1: I am blown away. This mattress topper is a 10/10. I ordered it because I recently changed from a standard spring mattress to a memory foam mattress. I love my mattress, but it's a bit thinner than the spring mattress was and I missed the height. I also found that the cover of the memory foam mattress was stretching out and thought a topper might alleviate some of the strain on the mattress covering itself. So in any case I found this VERY affordable mattress topper and ordered it on impulse. I got a little worried when some reviewers said it was too soft but I rolled with it. I'm glad I did. Unpackaging was a breeze. Less than an hour to expand. No weird smell as some reviews indicate. I did however give it a spritz of my favorite fabric freshener just because that's a bed-making habit of mine. After a very restful hour nap, I can say with 100% certainty that this is an awesome purchase. The firmess to squish ratio is awesome. The added height makes my fitted sheet fit soooo much better with less slip. Now for the disclaimer: Foam. Is. Soft...... Foam. Is. Not. Firm. But this is the least soft foam I think I've ever laid on, amd that is a GOOD thing. A lot of foams have too much gove and you end up being swallowed alive. Or they are so soft that to get out you literally have to roll out because its physically impossible to sit up. But this is just right. I am VERY pleased. I will update after 1 week. SAME DAY UPDATE: okay I take back the no smell thing. Theres a bit more plastic smell than I thought. It will need more time to breathe than I thought. Not overwhelming though. Still workable. A year later and it still feels great. Moved in with my partner and we purchased a cal king size one to put in our bed. The full is now a spare bed (though our cats think it belongs to them lol). Cal King size gets the same rating as the full. Still fits well, the smell dissipates quickly, BUT the larger sizes will take longer to decompress and fill out. Keep that in mind. Don't be discouraged if it takes a while. Open it up early in the day, mist it with water or fwbreeze as it helps it unravel, and by night time, you have the most comfortable bed ever. I will say....I do not recommend using this UNLESS you use it with a fitted mattress topper/protector. Having the extra squeeze from the mattress protector keeps edges of the topper vs the edges of your mattress less noticeable. So I strongly strongly strongly recommend buying a fitted mattress protector with a slight quilting to make this topper even better. My partner and I love it. 2 year update: this topper is holding it's own! We still love it! The cal king is admittedly not a perfect fit, but it is extremely comfortable. I stand by my statement that a fitted mattress cover helps HUGELY in squishing the edges down to hide the fact the topper is slightly smaller than the mattress itself...which may actually be a mattress problem more than a topper problem. The full size one fits much more flush and it is still very comfortable as well! Our guests always love it! I've come up will a couple disclaimers: 1. It will never fit completely flush with your mattress. (Kind of already stated) 2. Cats seem weirdly drawn to clawing the foam? Doesn't apply to everyone purchasing, but worth noting. 3. The holes in the topper are not completely punched through, and of you attempt to put your finger through them to open up the airway, you may make a much bigger hole than you want. 4. Can't say it enough....foam is foam. It is not as stiff as a spring mattress. I like this, but my partner amd I have both agreed that a memory foam mattress PLUS a memory foam topper is a bit too soft sometimes. We will probably convert to a firmer mattress (but keep this topper) to balance it out. But 2 times purchasing this on 2 different sized beds more that 2 years later and we still don't regret this purchase! Recommend 10/10! 3 year update: Found this review while looking for a product I previously purchased and saw that I had purchased this 3 years ago. I still love it very much, and the foam does not seem to be giving out at all. I am 190 lbs and my husband is 6'8" and 260 lbs. So.... we are not small people! And yet I can say that this topper has held its own with little noticeable wear and tear. (Except for where the kitties got over zealous and scratched at it). We still have the full bed set up as a guest bed and it's doing great as well. I still stick to what I said about it being foam though.... It is soft. But we love it still 3 years later!

We recently bought a camper trailer. The mattresses camper manufacturers choose for their beds are definitely not of the best quality, and are basically laid on a sheet of plywood. A friend of mine had raved about her memory foam topper she bought a few years ago at Sam's Club, of which I am not a member, so I took to Amazon to research memory foam mattress toppers. After reading reviews and doing price comparisons, I chose this one. It was a great choice! I did have one concern while reading the reviews as some complained about a horrible smell the first few days, but we never ever had a smell. I did lay it out for a couple of days on the mattress and opened the windows in the camper before making the bed, but even in close quarters as a camper never had a smell. Only one thing was a little bit of an issue and that is the queen mattress on the bed must not quite be a queen size as once the memory topper was completely formed it was bigger, but it still worked for us I just had to make sure I purchased deep pocket sheets. The first night we slept on it was amazing! Both hubby and I got a great night sleep in our new camper trailer, and anyone that has ever owned a camper knows this is not normally the case. The next 10-days while on vacation we were sleeping better than we had in a long time. As a matter of fact I just now ordered this topper in the king-size for our bed here at home because I have been threatening to go outside and sleep in the camper! Love this topper and can't wait until my new one gets delivered in the next few days. Amazingly comfortable! Love it.

Comfortable as all get-out, this thing is the BEST. I got the 4-inch topper. I'd been covering an old box-spring with four padded toppers plus pillows and it still was uncomfortable. This foam topper is utterly wonderful and so ridiculously comfortable, 100/10. ONLY negative thing is that it's weirdly small; I have a full mattress, I bought the full topper, and it's about six inches small on both the long and short sides. I shored up the gap with my old padded toppers so it's not a problem but just something to think about.

I slept on this for 4 days. It helped my sore back, but by day 4, the headaches were so bad I was in agony. I read online that the fumes given off by the infused chemicals were causing it, so I took it off and stored it in another room. 4-5 days later, the headaches were gone. I returned it and got one with no gel infusion. It's a great topper if you're not susceptible to the off-gassing like I am. One other minor complaint: it shifts easily, so by morning, it's a few inches off-center and you have to move it back to the middle of the bed.

But it did and OMG is this COMFORTABLE. I'm a side sleeper and with arthritis as I have gotten older pain from this and constant movement was taking its toll. This is the 4 inch version. Took about 72 hours to fully expand except one corner which is slowly filling out. After 24 hrs I put some sheets over it and started sleeping on it the way it was. It is a firm memory foam, I sink in and it seems pretty much I no longer constantly flop around - I get to sleep faster and sleep a bit longer feeling better at this point. When I get up the foam quickly recovers. I had a 4 inch once before and it was so soft I had difficulty getting up out of bed, not the case with this. Honestly I could not be happier.

I bought Linenspa because it is a brand I have purchased in the past and was very happy with. This topper though, oh my goodness, IT SMELLS HORRIBLE!!! I am so disappointed. It feels great to sleep on, I woke up this morning without back or hip pain. What I did wake up with was a headache of monumental proportions. I kept waking up during the night because my face would have turned in towards the mattress and the smell is foul. I am 54 years old and have gone back to college so this is on my dorm bed. I put this on top of the mattress, then a thick and fluffy mattress pad, then 100% cotton fitted sheet. On top of me I had a flat sheet and a blanket. The smell was coming up through the mattress pad and fitted sheet so that when I adjusted my blanket, concentrated smell would come boiling out. I have sprayed it with Febreze multiple times and the smell overpowers the Febreze. You can’t even tell it has been sprayed with Febreze. It is currently in a separate room with a fan blowing at it towards an open window. In June. I am willing to have the window open and the air conditioning running in 90F heat in June to try to dissipate the terrible odors in this mattress topper because it really does feel awesome to sleep on until you wake up choking and coughing from inhaling the fumes. I really hope the smell goes away because trying to roll this thing up to get it back in a box is going to be nearly impossible. I will update this review with any changes and final resolution.

When I first left feedback on this mattress, I had not even put it on my bed, much less slept on it. I was angry that the packaging of this mattress had included loose bags of silica beads, both loose inside the box and then again inside the mattress as it unrolled. Before I realized it I, these bags had spilled onto the bed and floor, and I had to get them away from my two dogs. If ingested, silica beads can be deadly to pets. Needless to say I was upset and unfortunately my first review was harsh. A couple of days later I got the mattress on the bed. It is very thick and soft and I love it. I have issues with horrible knees, leg cramps at night and a new diagnosis of Lymphedema. Our bed was already high, and now with this mattress topper, I have to use a step stool to get onto the bed. But hey, it's worth it. I still do not sleep a whole night through without waking up a couple of times. But so far at least with this new bed topper I am getting more continuous sleep than I was before. I had been looking at this mattress topper for a while, and now wish I had purchased it a long time ago. Once I decided to finally order it, I then could not decide on whether to get the three or four inch topper. I am so glad that I went ahead and got the four inch.

Pros: 1. I really love just being able to sink in my bed to relax and let my body realign itself. I have arthritis everywhere. This really helps for me to relax and recover from a long day. It took 2-3 days to get used to it, but we both like it. 2. I would have given higher scores, but the few cons really outweigh the pros. 3. I did not smell any odors when we unpacked the box. 4. It fluffed up in only a few hours. It was easy to get on the bed, but you can read about sizes below. Cons: 1. Does not cover the entire mattress. 3inches short on the top (therefore the pillow eating monster we call our bed eats our pillows and the wind up behind the headboard. Also 5” short at the feet making it slightly uncomfortable for my 6’ husband. I’m 5-2, doesn’t bug me too much. 2. When rolling over in the middle of the night the response from the topper is really, really slow. It takes at least 5 minutes from your previous sleeping pattern for it to adjust to your new position and effecting your sleep patterns because you now wake up to wait for the topper to adjust. 3. Previous to this topper I had a 4” egg crate topper that I loved until it met my grandson who picked the eggs. I figured that I should get the same size gel mattress topper. I bought this uneducated. I should have purchased a smaller height due to me and my husband have back issues. Very hard to get out of bed in the morning. Always educate yoursel on products and how much thickness you really need.
