I had no idea that this chair would be such a great addition to my living room! I had purchased it for a different room where something small could accommodate the space and allow for seating when needed. Suddenly everyone uses it to watch TV, eat and spend time near the couch! It’s easy to move, light and cushion is comfortable. Not too large (although it’s larger than I expected) and adjustable for every one! Good for all sized ppl up to 200lbs! The seat and back is not flimsy. Only one drawback (to me, no one else feels this) the seat has highs and lows because of the 8” padded squares, so not consistent in its support of your bottom. It’s not a deal breaker, but maybe if it was designed with one large padded square in the seat that doesn’t dip in various spots from the stitching, it might be more comfortable- Otherwise- a great purchase and practical addition to the room ... show more

    • Loses padding quickly, but still a decent chair...

Bought this for my husband at Christmas to use as a gaming chair so he wouldn't have to sit directly on the floor. He only uses it for a couple of hours every other weekend or so. First of all, the chair supports him well, adjusts easily, and is definitely more comfortable than sitting on the floor. While the padding that supports his back is still in good condition, the padding he sits on is quickly flattening. After 2 months of use, he started placing a small pillow on first before sitting down. He isn't a large man, so it was a bit disappointing the bottom of the chair lost it's support that quickly. With that being said, it is still a decent chair and is serving it's purpose well. Besides the bottom padding, it seems to be holding up well and providing more support for him when playing games. ... show more

This chair is amazing. It is very comfortable and easy to use. It does smell a little at first but after a few days it doesn’t. I love this chair so much and use it often. Please note do not buy the one that looks like this that is cheaper. The cheaper one is crap. This one is where it’s at!!

I don't know why but our kids prefer to sit on the floor chairs more than sitting on a sofa. They sit on this floor chair when they are reading books or playing on their iPads. I think they like the fact that the back can be titled and adjusted to their needs and also they can move this floor chair by the window or right up next to the coffee table. You can't really move the sofa 😅 My wife works from home once a week and she doesn't have her own space so she works in our master bedroom on the floor with a laptop stand. This floor chair also comes in very handy for her so she doesn't have to sit on the hardwood floor. My daughter had a play date with her friends and they also used this and other floor chair to sit around the coffee table for doing arts and crafts. All the kids love this floor chair 😄 Very versatile and it can also lay it flat if you want to store away under the bed or sofa when not using. Well constructed and comfortable as well. This review is for the purple chair. See. I already owned a chair like this (pictured with squid) and liked it enough I thought boy, I should get another, for guests that visit, and my nephew for story time. And I thought aw yeah purple, my color! I was excited for a rainbow coalition of chairs....... Boy, this purple chair kinda sucks. It's lumpy and less comfortable than my original squid chair. My adult size bum slips off the bottom, unlike squid chair. I think story time will have to be on the rug, unless he agrees to sit on the purple chair. The back of the purple chair has what seems to be decent support, shame aboutthe inferiorlumpy fill material. I wouldn't recommend this purple chair brand to an adult to sit in, but ok for people you are ambivalent about, children, or both. I wouldn't even give this to my dog, the cover feels just thin enough that when she goes to settle in and dig at the chair as per her ritual she might puncture the fabric. No, She is not a big dog, she's 20 pounds. Why 3 stars? I feel like this chair is made for people that make their children sit on the floor. Depending on the size of the child it might meet those needs. It is accurate enough. I just hate it. The quality of the chair is so nice, soft and thick. Weight is easy to lift & bring anywhere in the house you wanna have it in, the purple color I got is like the exact same color you see in the photo, that rarely happens, I LOVE the purple. When I initially put this on my Amazon list, I had no idea the chair clicked into so many different settings depending on if you wanna sit more up or lounge, & when I saw that it did upon further inspection, that's what decided it for me. I'm 180lbs & the chair holds sturdy wherever you decide to put the back setting. That was something I was worried about, being heavier on such a small chair, but it doesn't even budge until you physically click it into another setting. I will definitely buy one again if my son decides he wants one too! ... show more
