Bought 4 of these to replace round stools that were falling apart. They are sturdy after assembly, but some of the screws that attach the seat fall out. Luckily, there are 4 seat screws, so this hasn't been a significant problem yet. Also, the seat-edge is sharp and could do with about a 1-2cm round-over. Some of the discomfort can be eliminated by sitting straight forward with your feet on the support cross-brace. I'm deducting 1 star for these observations, although the sharpness of the seat edge is clearly shown in the photos of the product and I was aware of it when I purchased them. ... show more

While they look okay, they will not stay together. They can't be tightened enough to hold. Screws fall out if you use the crossbar for your feet, the bar comes out and yeah, it takes out a chip of the leg with it. I have had these for under a year and they just do not last.

If you want a smooth seat, this isn’t it. Rough areas that will cause damage to certain types of fabric. We are sanding seat area and reapplying stain and sealer.
