I've had the Gianna Espresso machine for about 5 months and so far my experience has been positive. Despite the mixed reviews I took a chance. Hope it lasts for some years. It was bigger than I thought but built well, nice stainless steel finish. I wanted to start making cappuccinos and lattes at home but didn't want to spend too much on my first espresso machine. I don't use it everyday but often enough. I like to grind the coffee beans for each cup and it's delicious each time. Each cup is hot enough for me. You can also use E.S.E. pods which I use as well (I recommend Illy E.SE. pods Classico medium roast). A breeze to clean. It steams and froths milk perfectly. I did buy a better stamper. I'm not bothered by the noise, it's not bad and it's for short moment while it brews. As others have mentioned, the cup warmer doesn't work well. I think maybe if you make a few cups it may work better. I make sure I clean the steamer nozzle and wipe down the machine after each use. The on/off touch button can sometimes be a little tricky but nothing that prevents me from using it. When not in use, it shuts off automatically. I find it's worth the money for an entry level espresso machine with the accessories provided and allows me to make a really good cup of cappuccino/latte . So far I don't regret my purchase of this item.

Waste of money!!! Don't buy this product, it's broken. The pump doesn't even pump water but makes the machine hot.

This my second machine I had a Gevi when it bad I replaced it with thjs machine this machine is head and shoulders over the Gevi . Machine has lightning fast heat up , great pressure it extracts a super cup of expesso , it's very easy to operate . Iv'e been making and drinking expresso for years . I will share my experience with you , use only distilled water it eliminates the need for descaling and extends the life of the machine second get a good grinder amazon has good ones at a very cheap price last purchase a good ground compressor that is paramount to makling a good cup of expresso . Propper compression gives you dry grounds when your done brewing. Thats the sign of a good brew . Hope this helps .Enjoy

Looks nice and seems like nice quality...first one I received seemed to work ok, but the pressure Guage didn't move at all, so I returned it for a new one. The second one I received didn't even pump water at all, and began to smoke...returned it and will not be purchasing again.

Al abrir la caja se encuentra una maquina robusta, con buenos acabados. Una a excepción es la perilla para vapor, que se siente liviana por ser de plástico, lo cual sería mejor si fuera en un material más resistente. Cuando se va a utilizar por primera vez, es necesario que se incluya en el manual que se requiere “cebar” la bomba o llenar manualmente con un poco de agua el ducto de entrada para que la maquina empiece a succionar el agua desde el tanque. Si no se hace esto la máquina solo generará ruido y no funcionará. Un inconveniente que observo, es la poca distancia entre el portafiltro y la bandeja recolectora para poner vasos o tazas de mayor altura. Seguiré actualizando esta información cuando haya preparado bastantes tazas de café. ACTUALIZACIÓN: Después de realizar ya varios espressos, tanto simple como doble, lo primero que noto es que la cantidad de espresso que está programado en ambas opciones son alrededor de 47 ml y 87 ml, que son volúmenes por encima de lo normal para el tipo de bebida, pero con un buen sabor de café. Es de aclarar, que, aunque se cambie la molienda, el volumen obtenido no tiene ningún tipo de variación considerable, pero el sabor sigue siendo bueno. Se echa de menos el que este tipo de máquina no tenga la posibilidad de programar los volúmenes para uno y dos espressos con base en el tiempo de extracción, con esta posibilidad sería una máquina perfecta para un aficionado a tomar buenos espresos. En cuanto al espumador de leche, ya he hecho varios intentos y en general se obtiene un buen resultado, aunque principalmente este proceso requiere de bastante práctica. Se abona que para reducir la temperatura a la que trabaja la máquina para realizar el espumado cuando aparece el E-2 cuando se trata de hacer un espresso, se pueda dejar abierto el espumador y en menos de 1 minuto desaparezca el error y ya se pueda hacer la extracción. También se abona que se pueda utilizar la boquilla de espumado para sacar agua caliente con el fin de hacer una aromática o un americano En términos generales es una muy buena máquina, que cumple con las funciones para realizar un buen café y un buen espumado de la leche.

Only been a few days so far and I'm loving this machine so far. It is easy to use and makes a delicious espresso. It is well worth what I paid. It is a little noisy but bareable.

Doesn't get hot. The cup warmer never gets warm. When making a double shot I never see steam and its immediately ready to chug. (not necessarily a bad thing) It makes a strong coffee. I tried recreating the "cubano" (double shot with brown sugar) that I like to get at the local coffee shop but I can't even get close to the richness of espresso. *UPDATE* 11/08/24 - DEAD.
