I don't have too many situations that require two smart plugs in one outlet, but I do have them. Now, I can use one of these plugs for two different devices and have an outlet open for something else. Here are some of my other thoughts on these plugs: 1.) This uses the Smart Life app, which have already been using for a number of different smart devices around the house. 2.) I was very impressed how quickly the app recognized these and completed the pairing process. 3.) These fit really well on a standard outlet and leaves plenty of room to spare for the other outlet. 4.) I've had to turn off 5 GHz to pair smart devices before, but that wasn't the case with these. Smart plugs are a great way to take pretty much anything and turn it into a smart device. These give you two smart plugs per device and still leave room to spare for the other outlet. They work as well as any other smart plug I've used, and I've had plenty. These are worth it and I recommend them.

I thought I would give some home automation a try when I saw these plugs. I don't have and Echo or Google device to control automated devices, so when I saw the company has a program that can be used to control the plugs, I was in! I used the QSR code on the side of the box to download the needed software. I didn't find the software particularly intuitive. Once the device is plugged in, it attempts to connect to the Wi-Fi. Open the app and you have to search a bit to find the add device options. Once you open that feature you can select your Wi-Fi network, put in the password and the device is added. I used the software feature to add "on and off" times to the days I wanted. The design of the two-plug device is well thought out and it doesn't block the entire wall plug since it runs parallel rather than up and down. I think if I were to purchases more plugs, I would get the single version rather than the double. The 2 plugs can be programmed separately, but I don't have two appliances that would be next to each other, so the extra plug isn't being used. So, the two reasons I rated it 4 instead of 5 was the software, not being very easy to use, and having 2 plugs, at least is not necessary.

Works with Smart Home app which is much less clunky and a lot easier than some of the others I've tried recently. I'm in the process of switching everything to Smart Home if that tells you anything. Schedules are much easier to setup and don't require a degree in engineering to program. Manual buttons are on the front of the device and light up so you can always see the status of your device. No subscriptions are needed but I think I had to close an add or 2. Not my favorite bit a fair tradeoff for such a useful app with my devices. I can control my grow lights all from my phone, as well as check the temps and relative humidity from the same app. Very useful. Skip the testing that I went through, Smart Home is one of the better apps and supports the most devices. Very useful and highly recommend.

I ordered the GHome Smart Plug Extender 2 pack to use in different outlets around the house. They arrived safely securely packed by the manufacturer. Setup was very easy, just follow the instructions to download the app and setup on your home network. Please note these will only work on a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network they will not work on 5G WiFi. The app works great. I was happy to see the app had over 80 thousand reviews and a 4.8 rating. With the app you can set the outlets individually or together on a timer. You can turn them on and off, check to see if they are on or off, etc… The app also allows you to enable a child lock to any and all of the outlets. Really cool order, I like these a lot. Easy to setup, work great absolutely 5 stars.

The alexa skills couldn't link to this. But thru their app- Gosund, it's able to link. There are two outlets to plug your device in and they both can be configured separately- different schedules when it powers on/off. Alexa can control both as a group but not each one. Also it's important to know that not every device will work on this. For instance, this can power on/off my IP camera, manual control fan, manual control light. I find that those devices like my candle warmer and push button fan do not work with this. If the power turns off, both of those turn off and if power goes back on, neither will power on unless you turn on each of their power buttons.
