I have two of these installed on interior doors. It’s been two months and they’ve worked flawlessly so far. However, I have prepared myself that these will inevitably fail at some point. Maybe tomorrow, maybe next year, but I feel like that’s the nature of this type of product. We shall see, and I have the keys stashed accordingly in case of emergency. They installed easily, worked exactly as advertised. Turns out I already had their app for some other smart plug I had. So far, I absolutely love the doorknobs and recommend. I will likely update this review if I have a problem in the future. I would not install these on an exterior door and don’t know if they’re recommended for that purpose. The technology seems a bit fragile for weather and temperature exposure. I do think they feel like very good quality and design, especially for the price, but seem appropriate for interior doorknobs. Honestly, I expected more cheap imported, knock-off junk from Amazon. I am pleasantly surprised at the quality. I was (sadly) not paid for this review. I would definitely buy from this brand again. I picked these mostly for looks since both doors they’re installed on are French doors and I wanted the most subtle smart option since it needed to look minimally obtrusive with the other knob. It looks good, clean metal and good quality. I love that it’s rechargeable and it’s easy to setup and use. The only negative is sometimes it doesn’t engage even when it turns green showing a good read of your print. I almost returned it but it doesn’t happen often. After a few months of use I’m glad I kept it.

UPDATE: changing from 4 star to 5 star, even though my past critique is still valid, honestly the product is so convenient, the scanner is just the right level of picky about your finger print, what i really wanted to talk about was how it operates. so on the inside of your locked home, you can twist the door knob and the door will open, without having to do anything other than setting the mode to pass through. and when you close the door behind you... the door is still locked, this is great i like this. another thing is that after unlocking the door the door will lock behind you, i cant name a single reason why anyone wouldnt like this feature, it lets me open my front door, and close it and not have to fiddle with anything else. its a great quality of life product. ---- Does what's intended Main selling points are the auto lock feature and rechargeable battery. Customization is pretty mid, only connects through Bluetooth so you can not remote unlock, because you are not physically present

**2 month update** Overall these have continued to work as desired. Main complaint: In order to use the App to unlock the doors you have to be in close proximity to the lock, which makes the feature basically worthless. Child was locked out of room due to below comment, and I was unable to remotely unlock the door while running errands. There are keys, but they are hidden so my brilliant special needs child doesn't get access the their rooms (the reason for the locks in the first place). An additional frustration, though NOT the products fault, is if you only upload one of your fingers and then damage the fingerprint (burn, skin peeling, etc.) you can no longer access...I'd encourage you to upload at least 2-3 different fingerprints just in case (which reduces the amount of people who can be programmed to the individual door knob). As others have mentioned, sometimes switching the lock from auto-locked to passageway doesn't immediately register and requires a couple turns back and forth. Hopeful that's just a tiny glitch that doesn't become permanent. Last note. Each door knob has its own configured fingerprints so the fingerprint on one doorknob is not saved in the system so that you can just add a fingerprint to a different doorknob using the app...you have to manually add a fingerprint to each doorknob. Not a big deal, but something to be aware of before buying. Altogether, still very pleased with the purchase. - - - - - - - - - - Purchased 3 Handles Having a special needs child you wreaks havoc on siblings belongings, I don’t know why I waited so long! The peace and validation it has brought for my other children was well worth the money, but hoping they last several years. Had some difficulty setting them up until I realized the problem was my WiFi and not the door handles. Overall I haven’t had any issues with them. The app is pretty easy to work, but wish I could add users without them needing an email address. Not a difficult fix, but think this would be a little more “family friendly.” Takes a few tries to do figure out where on the fingerprint will regularly spring the lock, but after that it’s good. So far, very pleased with them!! One of the handles lock switch isn’t quite as tight as I’d prefer, but hasn’t caused any issues. Only complaint is that it seems I need to be physically at the residence to unlock doors which is a little unnerving if I’m not home and one of my kids needs in

It is a solid and good smart fingerprint doorknob. The only downside is that the fingerprint sometimes is not very sensitive to my finger. I need to try several times to unlock the door. It is very easy to install, too. The app interface and features are way limited for this doorknob, compared with another device from the same brand.
