I labored over buying a home espresso machine for quite some time because it's such a tricky balance: The affordable ones (less than, let's say $350) are often lame and the expensive ones (over $500) are, well, expensive (and often require fancy maintenance). This Gevi machine has really come through! I make coffee for my neighbors and co-workers. It's already paid for itself in less than a month! The grinder is great. I do have to shake the hopper occasionally to get the beans to fall but it's fine for the price. And the espresso maker works perfectly! Really happy! ... show more

Had to replace original carafe that was dropped by grandson. Could not locate it at first, emailed the company, and they sent the link for replacement. Once ordered, it arrived quickly and in perfect condition. Very happy with this coffeemaker, after Cuisinart grind and brew broke.
