This was my first e bike ,i was really glad to be getting it .it was extremally easy to put together .Then once i got it together it was to big [,so i thought] wasnt use to such big tires ,although they are not It was just that i wasnt use to seeing one up close . Well i sold it and got a smaller e bike with 3 inch wide tires ,but the battery and everything else on that bike was pretty cheap ,kept it for a couple months and sold that one also, but it was fun riding .and now im getting another one probably a gesheng again . The problem is that i need to get use to the 4inch tires .and this bike will be what i keep .because ,ive been shopping around for a long time on ebay and amason . I have been coming back to the gesheng ,because of the strong build and the technology they are doing on the bikes. Once i get use to riding this bike i will certainly like it and keep it .No matter where you look you will not find one that has everything that all the others charge so much more money for. Im not compensated for this ,I did not get one yet ,but i will within the next few weeks.AND I CANT FORGET TO MENTION CINDY WHO DID HER DAMDEST TO HELP ME WITH THIS BIKE ... show more

Purchased this bike back in July 2022, since then have put over 400 miles on the bike and each mile was a blast. It brought my best friend and I closer riding on a trail near my home that is perfect for bicycles. Customer support is fantastic as far as the seller goes. They absolutely stand behind their product 100% and even just asking basic questions about the bicycle they will try to find ways to reward customer loyalty. I tend to leave my bicycle out when we will travel to restaurants on it and I always joke that if it does get stolen I’ll be buying it from here again. The back seat and rear foot pegs work so well that my wife and I can actually ride. We weigh around 350 combined weight and the battery life is generally unaffected by the extra weight. Heavy hitters are welcome. And it goes without saying, but as many children that will see your bike you’ll hear, “cool bike!” Or variants there of that affirm your purchase even more. There is nothing negative that I could say about this bike that the customer support will not correct. Contact them and they will help you 110% ... show more

    • Great fun with a couple of issues
This bike is very fun to ride. It's fast. I've had it OVER 32 mph and I weigh 230 lbs. It's my first E-bike so wasn't sure what to expect. There were some problems though. First of all, it took 3 weeks to arrive for an "in stock" bike. I contacted support and Cindy said they were doing inventory. Whatever. Anyways, after it arrived, I assembled it. The first problem was the crank/sprocket is totally warped. It is so warped, it rubs against the frame as you pedal. I've contacted Gesheng and they said they would send me a new part, but I have yet to receive after almost 2 weeks. I manually bent it back in place so I could ride it until new one arrives. Unfortunately, I guess I will have to take it to bike shop to install at my expense. The next thing is with the front rack installed, it interferes with the cable connected to the headlight. Eventually, the connection is pulled out. I solved problem using a plastic tie to limit the range of the cable movement when turning. How are other people not experiencing this same thing? The next problem is the rear seat foot pedals. One of them interferes with brake cable. If you screw it in tight, it inhibits movement. Again, how are other people not experiencing this? I decided I don't need them since no one will be riding in back anyways. Lastly, the brakes squeal like crazy after riding awhile. Not sure how to adjust calipers since there are no included instructions. Even with these issues, the bike is a blast to ride. I've added a phone bracket and a rear view mirror which is pretty essential when riding on city streets. Also replaced the stock seat which is pretty uncomfortable on long rides. ... show more

It took me months to decide on this bike and I have to say it is absolutely the best decision I could have made!!!!! For starters, I have a bad hip and the step thru is so accommodating. I barely have to lift my leg over a foot. I waited a bit before writing a review so I can pass on my opinion and I love this bike!!! It's pretty dang fast! It took me a couple days of getting used to the big tires, which are really great for the terrible awful old sidewalks in my very old city. The big tires absorbed the bumps like they aren't even there. I rode a long way a couple days in a row and still have plenty of battery left. There's NOTHING I DON'T LIKE about my bike. Oh yeah!     • Power and features for a great price!
I love my Gosen/Gesheng S5 folding bike! The bike arrived safely packaged and about two weeks early. Assembly was easy and the bike was ready to go. On my first ride, the bike took off like a rocket. It felt more like an electric motorcycle than a bike and I was a little concerned that It had too much power on the lowest of its three assist levels and that it might be a situation of zero assist or too much. I went to Gosenbike.com online, downloaded the bike’s electronic controller manual, and found that the bike had many easily programmable power options. I was able to quickly tame the beast. Now my bike has nine PAS levels from 0-9 assist plus a walk mode. I can select the power level that gives me the perfect amount of exercise, a boost up a hill or through the sand, or a quick ride back home if I get too tired or the weather turns bad. The suspension and tires help smooth out the tree-root bumps of our local bike trails and the fat tires let me cruise for miles on the local beach. Folded, it is easy to store. This is a high quality bike at a quite reasonable price. Go Gosen/Gesheng! ... show more

I ordered this bike based on the package description size and weight as it was going to be transported with size restrictions. The package arrived larger and heavier than advertised. It is now worthless to me. I tried to return it only to find it would cost me 650 dollars to return ship it, so I just gave it to a friend. Don’t trust these people. ... show more
