Love this thing! The blade works great and comes sharp out of the package. It's super lightweight and the bamboo handle gives it a nice feel. Quality steel and constructed simply, which is great. The size is a little smaller than average, but I personally like the compactness. It slips in your pocket fast and easy, with the clip mounted high on the handle so you can barely see it. The only issue out of the package, and it's an easy one to solve, is that the blade lock is super tight, so unlocking it with one hand was hard. To fix it, you just have to bend the blade lock out a little bit to loosen it. I'd buy another one, great for a gift for anybody that needs a pocket knife. ... show more

The negative reviews are the seller and not the product. No it doesn't assist open, it never said it did. No it's not going to cut through wood blocks, get serious. I work in a car garage and I use this knife every day from opening boxes to using it as a makeshift pry tool for lighter objects. I 9 months it hasn't let me down or broken. It's my perfect EDC. I have pruned plants and trees wth it even. It's sharp and stays that way. Opens easy, low maintenance, gorgeous, light weight. I now have 2 of them. This thing goes with me every place I do. I really love this simple knife. Great blade, looks nice. Love the black look and the how the handle looks and feels. Just wish it opened more smooth and faster. You cannot flip this knife open. I would love it if you could flip it all the way open.

its a great knife for what i bought it for which is cutting cardboard .i dont use the clip and its small and not in the way .the blade is sharp out of the box. i never had a razor blade knife and i like it the only thing that it king of odd is the liner lock ,just odd placement ,it works fine but takes me both hands to un lock ,maybe its just me ....over all its a keeper ... show more

    • Good knife, but not a great flipper

I ordered this knife after seeing someone say it was a good product. I received it and it actually looks pretty nice, just a single side has the bamboo veneer, I was hoping both sides had it in case I wanted to flip the clip, but it seems that you aren't able to switch the sides the clip is on. The knife overall seems pretty solid from the little use I've put it through, so only time will tell how it holds up. But the biggest problem I have with it is that it's very stiff to open and often gets stuck with a simple flick, I feel like I need to aggressively flick the back of it and swing it violently to get it to open in a single motion, but maybe it's just because it's new and still needs to be broken in (hopefully) and the line lock is also pretty stiff and I need two hands to close the blade. The blade style being straight makes it easier to sharpen than traditional curves blades, which means it doesn't have much of a point, so stabbing through card board boxes is a little thougher. If you want something unique and don't mind the stiffness, I'd say it's a pretty decent knife that's got a good simplistic style to it. ... show more
