The Canoe knife get its name from its canoe-like shaped handle. This durable folding knife features two blades on opposing ends and a peach seed jigged amber bone handle. The pen blade is great for light work and good for sharpening. The spear blade is used as a heavy-duty utility tool and great for piercing. The Canoe knife can be used for fishing related jobs like cutting hooks off lines, cleaning fish, and cutting through finishing line easily. Constructed with Case Tru-Sharp Stainless Steel, this knife has special high-carbon steel that helps the blades holds an edge longer than conventional steel.     • Perfect Little Daily Carrier! I Love The Size And Balance Of This Knife
I ordered the Antique Bone Baby Butterbean X-small knife with no canoe or inscriptions on the blade. I really love this little knife. I have several Case knives and this one came to me in perfect condition! Everything fits together exactly and there are no burrs or edges that are not flush. The blades are tight and snap into place and the finish is immaculate. This knife is so well balanced that I can spin it on a hard surface and it will spin like one of those toys the kids are playing with for a very long time. I like to do that at my desk or when I am sitting around doing nothing as it is relaxing and enjoyable. The blades and body are stainless steel and came straight out of the box with a nice edge. The color of the handle is subtle and bone colored with nice tone on the side with the Case insignia. The other side is less colorful but still nice to look at. Overall I think this will be my new daily carrier and I am VERY happy with the quality and the price. It is the perfect size for carrying around in your pocket for opening packages and envelopes and when you just need a blade. I like this knife better than the other "small" knives like the mini stockman and the peanut because the main blade is wider and more heavy duty. My second Case knife and this one is even better than the Peanut I purchased. It's compact size disappears in the pocket and the blades make quick work of the cutting tasks I need at work i.e. opening letters and boxes, food prep in the breakroom and makes a great fidget spinner that does not freak out my coworkers. Fit and finish is excellent, blades were centered and sharp and the stag handles had a lot of figure on them. I"ve always wanted a case canoe so when I lost my Boker lock blade I knew exactly what I was getting to replace it. I love the look and feel of it and it feels right at home in my front pocket. It came with a decent edge but I wanted it to shave so a few licks on a good stone and a few minutes on some leather and she shaves effortlessly. The blades are CV( HIGH carbon steel) and are very good at holding a razor sharp edge. So I hit my pocket knifes on some leather after I use them so they stay sharp allways. Plus they are made in the USA and have a lifetime warranty which is a plus if you actually use every day like I do. Can't go wrong with this one. This knife arrived today. I was surprised at how small it is. I was going to return it. Then, I noticed how nice the sambar stag scales looked. Both blades were quite sharp, with good snap opening and closing. The more I handled it, the more I liked it. I cannot say enough about how beautiful this knife is. Real bone handles, polished steel and best of all...American made by American craftsmen/women. Darn right 'Merica!!!! This will be no show piece. I am replacing a Case trapper which is just a little too big in my jeans. This Canoe knife is perfect. I highly recommend this or really any other Case knife. This is a beautiful, well made pocketknife, and although it's small, it's got good heft and feel. The canoe shape has long been my favorite, and the stag handles on this canoe make it make it one of the best looking knives I've ever owned. Problem is, I bought it to carry, and now I don't want to carry or use it for fear of scratching and marring its finish. Maybe I'll buy another one just to look at. ... show more
