Although it seems to be, at first glance, a bit cheaply made, for the cost and for the use I have already gotten from this little beauty, it was worth every penny..... and when this one does finally wear out, I will get another one. It sharpens very well and with great speed. Just a few swipes across the stones, and she's ready for tomatoes! All the extras work as well. The whistle, the fire starter, and the hook sharpener. I have many tools, and I find it very easy to loose one, by putting it down in a bad spot when you're busy, or just forgetting where you store a tool that you don't often use (such as a knife sharpener)., but THIS baby is BRIGHT colored, and always standing out to say to me...."Hey Mister....Are your knives sharp?" BUY, BUY, BUY!

Very cool fidget spinner for adults. It’s my everyday carry for sure. The whistle is loud and very nice for being out on the water. The flint striker isn’t consistent like ones I have had before. The sharpener will definitely cut you a new blade. The finishing side doesn’t seem to do much in my opinion. Very comfortable and compact in my pocket.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I've never been able to get a good edge on my pocket knife with a whetstone. I've tried the Sharpal type of sharpener with two previous tools. I really like the features, particularly the fishhook and serrated edge file. Just follow the directions and use a light hand as when you get your knife initially sharp it only takes a few strokes to restore an edge on my Case knives. I haven't used the fire starter yet. I have bought two extras for friends. Sharpener quality: Well designed and useful. Tool size: Handles well. Angle guide: Consistently performs when used properly. Follow the directions. Compactness: Lots of features in a handy package. Safety: When used properly it is safe to use. Works well: Yes, it works well and is a nice gift, in my opinion.

OK, I know there are a lot of reviews saying how amazing this is. And, let me tell you, it is! I can't speak of the fire starter and the whistle is quite loud. But the main attraction is the sharpener. Super easy to use, felt very sturdy. I was thinking my everyday pocket knife (3 inch blade, non serrated ) was getting a little dull... After a few runs through this sharpener my knife looked really sharp... How sharp? I grabbed an old t-shirt to wipe some dust off the blade... Blade easily cut through the shirt with very light pressure. For 10 dollars, I'm very happy with the results.
