    • Overall very nice unit.
I'm happy with this unit. It's much lighter that my original GF grill, so I was concerned about quality, but it works well and cooks evenly. There is just one temperature setting and no timer, so you need to use your phone or stove timer. Very easy to clean.

Tried to cook some burgers I got from Costco, could only fit 2 on there. No big deal, I just cooked 2 more later, but still. I figured I could fit at least 3 on there. I had to rate temperature control, as far as I know, there is none. And cleaning is not easy, I recommend using aluminum foil lining on it. It's a bit of a pain to work around and still have it drip into the thingy, but it saves time and headaches. Still love it though. My flavorite way to cook a burger. ... show more

    • Died after 4 1/2 months
Although harder to clean than the Foreman grills with removable plates, this grill is simple to use and gives a great sear, which we love. However, this is the second of this particular type of Foreman grills that stopped heating after just a few months of use. This one we bought in May 2023 - used a couple of times a month - but then on October 8, it heated up, the lights went out, and it died. This is exactly what happened a couple of years ago. However, I will say that a couple of years ago, the George Foreman people were great and replaced the grill no problem with a photo of the grill with the cord cut. This purchase was a Birthday present and the person told me he loves it. He had used one of the first Foreman grills that came out many years ago, until it fell apart. He was very pleased with the upgrades that had been made over the years. And being that this person is very hard to please and is very happy with the grill, I would definitely recommend this product. ... show more

    • Not easy to clean and cooks at uneven temps
1. Item cooked very unevenly. The top does not sit evenly on what you are cooking, causing some parts to cook faster. Resulted in a half overdone/burned steak and half medium rare 2. It is terribly hard to clean. Some grills that are similar have removable plates. This does not. I spent 15 minutes just trying to get the cooked on bits off and it was still not close to clean. I had cooked a steak on it. 3. Sadly, I did not take out of the box until I was ready to use. It came with a very large crack on the top of the grill. Since I waited so long to open I could not return the item. I was miffed but i dont like to waste items because of visible defects so I tried using it. Especially since i couldnt return it. This was not a good idea. As the grill heated up, the crack began to expand and bubble and is def a safety risk. Please do not use the item if it has a crack. ... show more
