So far I've used it once. I love that the plates are detachable to immerse in dish water...makes it a whole lot easier to clean. I made pork chops and they got done nicely. This is at least my fourth George Foreman. I like that the back "legs" are stationary as opposed to folding on my old one.

    • Great little electric grill - use it about 5-6 times a week!
VERY pleased with this George Foreman electric grill. I cook burger patties on it - mostly bison burger patties. I heat it up 3 minutes, put the garlic salt and pepper seasoned patties on it, two at a time, and set the timer for another 3 minutes. I like my meat very well done, and this works perfectly for me. The drip pan catches all of the fat and extra juices, and the patties are always cooked evenly. I may try it for grilled sandwiches in the future, but right now I am not eating any bread items. It appears to be well made, is a breeze to clean up, and takes up very little room on my counter. The non-stick surface is a "piece of cake" to clean, too! Very happy with our purchase! ... show more

This is a great choice for cooking up protein and reducing the fat/grease while being super easy to clean. Fast, even cooking and no need to flip. Took one star off because it’s way smaller than I expected. I can cook 2 hamburger patties at a time max, so I wouldn’t say 4 servings. But it’s still great! ... show more

    • Small but amazing love mine
I love this little thing!! Super slippery grill plates. Super easy to clean. However hot dogs slide right out when you lift the lid because of the pitch of the unit. That’s great for draining grease, not so much for hotdogs landing on the floor. To compensate for this, when I make hotdogs I put something under the front legs to level the unit a little. Problem solved. U can only fit 2 large burger patties (fresh not frozen) at a time. I cook 7 min and perfect medium well. Only has 1 temperature, HOT. And the indicator on the lid is red when preheating and then a green light comes on when ready. Grill plates hold in well and super easy to remove to wash. I’ve don’t most of mine waging by hand. Not dish washer. Again I’m very happy with the value for what it does. I’d say only buy if you’re a single person or just a couple. Not recommended for a family unless you plan on cooking in shifts. Again, I love it and have had over 6 months. Lastly, I’ve only used for hot dogs and hamburgers. ... show more

Bought this to replace an older model. The removable plates are awesome, as well as the grease tray. Easy clean up and you are ready to go again. Burgers, hotdogs, Bratwurst or thinner chicken breasts. No temp adjustment on this model, but you really don't need one.

    • Good ole Foreman grill!
Works great - I use it at least once a week. A couple notes based on my experience and previous reviews I have read. - Its not a 4-serving grill. Come on GF, lets double check portion sizes and revisit the description. Its 3-servings at best. - Food does not slide down the grill plate and not stay in place if the grill is properly pre-heated - its important to let the grill pre-heat and place food on the grill when the light turns green indicating it is ready to cook. Food will slide down the grill plate if its not properly pre-heated. - The grill plates are not hard to take off and put back on. We take them off and clean them after every use and have had no issues. - I cant say that this wasnt an issue with some grills in the past or even some that are sold now - but we have not had the issue if the black, dirty residue on the back of the grill plates that comes off when they get washed. The back of our grill plates looked like silver, unfinished metal and has never had any residue coming off of them - The plastic tray fits perfectly up under the front of the grill and captures any grease or run-off. We have never had a mess under the grill after cooking - I wish it had a timer like our old Foreman grill - thats the biggest bummer. I love it. It gets used a lot. Its easy to use and easy to clean.
