I've been using my old chair I got from Costco 7 years ago and the material is starting to disintegrate. It's still pretty comfy but I have to vacuum a lot because of it. As much as I love my old chair I needed a replacement. I've been eyeing this chair for a couple of days now and finally pulled the trigger after the price dropped $100, surprisingly. It arrived on proptly and required minimal assembly. The base is very dense and solid. The cushioning is bouncy. My space is small and a mid-back design would be better as a high-back one would take so much visual space. This one has a shorter backrest than my previous one, which cradled my back nicely, the new one has a comfortable amount of cushioning. It did, however, came with missing screws for the back handles, but it's still very secure. I did message Amazon about it and asked for some spare parts. The listing did say "genuine leather" but with this price I doubted it, and I was right. This is no big deal for me as it is priced very reasonably. The build is very solid and I would say it is a very good reproduction of the Herman Miller Eames chair. I will probably have to vacuum again after a decade of using it cuz I don't expect this material to last. That's a problem for me in the future, this chair is a keeper!

Just like other reviews this is a very nice supportive chair. The angle of the back is perfect support, a bit larger than other similar chairs it is a good size for husband who is 6'. The aluminum has a nice luster better than chrome which can wear. We were surprised how nice it is. Came very well packed and protected in box. And the leather is more stiff than the Herman Miller version, but has a nice soft touch. You want the back to be stiff. The chair upgrades the entire office room. The coasters glide very well on the wood floor so well we got rid of the plastic protecter. We are really happy with the purchase.

This chair is probably THEE highest quality item I have ever purchased with Amazon…real leather and amazing!! My MIL has an Eams chair and this is definitely comparable!! Will easily last a lifetime.

My chair arrived today. When I opened the box, the first thing that caught my eye was the substantial aluminum frame. It's a very solid piece of office furniture. The assembly required is very minimal - 5 minutes tops and anyone can do it regardless of skill level. It took longer to remove the protective padding than to actually put the chair together. It rolls more smoothly and quieter on my glass chair mat than my previous chair. The seating surface is pretty firm, but still comfortable. I would definitely buy it again.

Loved the elevated designer look of this chair, since it would be located in my living room. It arrived within the scheduled time frame in great condition, thanks to the efficient and protective packaging. The chair itself was very easy to assemble in minutes and appears to be of excellent quality, better than expected. The seat is quite firm and stiff, but feels comfortable enough. I am doubtful as to whether the seat material is really genuine leather, but at this price point I am willing to accept it regardless. All considered, I am very satisfied with this purchase and would do so again.

The chair is beautifully made with cast aluminum legs and arms. The seat is leather. It is a bit stiff initially but I’d expect it to loosen up over time. Very close to the original, with the exception that it goes up and down with a gas cartridge. Highly recommended.
