The metalwork on this chair is all solid polished aluminium. It’s a heavy chair. It does appear to be genuine leather, but that leather is coated in some form of polyurethane. I would not describe this as ‘full grain leather’ it is more like mid-price car seat leather. But it feels pleasant to sit in. The seat is large, the padding is substantial, it will accommodate larger adults. You can adjust the resistance of the recline, and you can control height. It took me about 20 minutes to assemble. For the price, this is a very good find. It’s not an Eames heirloom, but it wouldn’t embarrass itself if you put it in the same room as one.

This chair is very sturdy, comfortable, and well made. The leather seems like it will last a long time. I didn't think it was as hard to assemble as others have mentioned. I screwed the bolts into their holes prior to lining up the back and the arm rests to make sure that the treads worked ok. Also made sure to only tighten each screw about 1/2 way until every screw was was in place. Fully tightening was then easy. I have 2 negatives and therefore not 5 stars. First, I don't think the chair gives much lumbar support. I ended up buying a strap on cylindrical shaped lumbar support and that made a big difference. (I have a cheap office chair that has an adjustable lumbar support behind the fabric chair back and can be raised or lowered to fit in the small of your back.) Second, the arm supports are fixed in place. They do not raise or lower. I found they were too low so I bought strap on Memory Foam armrest cushions that raise the height by 2 inches. After those 2 modifications the chair is perfect.

I'm shocked at how many negative reviews there are. This chair is 100% real leather. Looks great. Feels great. It's sturdy. It rolls so smoothly, I learned my "glass floor mat" was uneven because I kept leaning to the left, unlike my previous office chair. I had to fix that, but dang, this chair is smooth. It's a fabulous chair. Rises and falls easily. Locks great. LOOKS GREAT! I love it. I was timid to pull the trigger on a more expensive chair online, but this worked out great. I don't know what the person talking about "cheap vinyl leather" is saying. It's not cheap vinyl at all. The assembly was tricky. The directions are a bit hard to read. The big key is to "not tighten much up" until you have all of the threads started. That made it much easier. Their customer support team was helfpul in stressing that. It wasn't clear in the instructions, but all is well and I love my new chair. I work from home and sit in front of a machine most of the day, so I'm a demanding critic. I 100% recommend this chair. Wonderful value for the money. Very functional. Great back support.

A little firm but still quite comfortable, and since it is leather, it will break-in overtime. Very happy!

A stylish chair, comfortable. I am short, so nice having chair that is low. However, it came with no assembly instructions, we could figure it out easy enough, but had a bit of a struggle with some of the screws in the backrest.

I was hesitant with only 7 reviews but since they were all 5s I pulled the trigger. The unboxing and assembly was simple. (about 45 min total probably only because my hands are not very strong). I was hoping the “white” was not a white white (with bluish undertones). The color is more a creamy white. Stylish enough that I don’t mind it in my living room. Comfort: The chair is comfortable for my size (5’2”) but would do well for a taller person. The seat seems stiff and I hope it softens up which will most likely another leather chair has done so. I’m hoping this chair is the solution to my sore back (work from home, lots of sitting hours). Hope this review helps.
