The product description offers 3 different attachments for a Dyson hairdryer. This review is for the Anti-Flight Flyaway Nozzle. The attachment does not include any information about it, so I would like to tell you what I learned: what it’s for; how to use it; and whether it will work on your hairdryer. 1. What it’s for. You use this attachment AFTER you have blow-dried and styled your hair. It will calm down fly-away surface strands and make your finished style look even smoother. 2. How to use it: Attach the nozzle to the dryer. Hold the nozzle against your hair at the top of your head on one side. The nozzle will “catch” your hair and you glide your hand slowly down along the surface of your hair. To style the back of your hair, rotate the nozzle 45 degrees where it attaches to the dryer, then bring it down as you did against the sides. I found a video suggesting that you should do this on high speed/low heat for thick hair or high speed/cold setting for thin hair. 3. Will it work on your hair dryer. If you have one of the Dyson models listed, it will work. If you have a Dyson clone, check whether the edge around the blower is magnetized ( I marked the edge blue in the photo ). The nozzle will only attach to a magnetized edge. Using the attachment myself I can confirm that the nozzle is lightweight and very easy to use. It is a one-hand process. My hair is very fine and I wear it straight & shoulder length. The Dyson clone dryer allows me to style my hair almost professionally, leaving a smooth finish. The flyaway nozzle does make my hair look even smoother but I think it also makes it look flatter. My impression is that the nozzle works as advertised. This review is for the curved "anti-flight flyaway" attachment. The magnet on this attachment is just as strong as the attachments that came with the hair dryer originally. Once I figured out how to use it (took me a few tries), I really do see a difference. If you're looking for a way to keep those flyaways at bay, and you own one of the Dyson hair dryers in the listing, this attachment is for you. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it gets hot if you're using any of the heat settings. I mean, REALLY hot. All of my actual Dyson attachments I can remove immediately afterwards. This one had to sit on my hair dryer for a few minutes before I could touch it. ... show more

This nozzle seems to work, but it gets really hot on the hairdryer. It is odd to use and can easily detach while you are using it. When picking the piece up to put it back on, it can almost burn your hands. I have mixed feelings because my hair was smoother, but it also was a challenge to use.
