This light was very easy to install on a painted 4x4 inch by 12 foot wooden post. The battery life suffers when sunshine has not been plentiful. I expect that from a solar light. The motion setting works like I'd expect. The four levels of brightness are very distinguishable. This solar light illuminates a large area. I already purchased two units within a month. I am about to buy a third unit. There is only one problem. Both times I purchased and was charged for the 1500 watt model but the box they came in said I received the 1200 watt model. Nowhere on the light can I find the wattage. In both cases the box has a label indicating the box contains the 1200 watt unit. The difference in price between the 1200 watt and the 1500 watt units was more than 30 dollars. Luckily Amazon refunded the difference for the two lights. See attached photos. As I look on Amazon today Gefolly sells a 600W, 800W, 850W, 1000W, 1200W and 1500W variation of this solar light. The price ranges from $127.47 to $248.97. The lights should be labeled. I'm very happy with my purchases. I shouldn't wonder if I got what I paid for because the box label doesn't match what I ordered and paid for. It may well be as simple as the wrong label was placed on the box. I hope Gefolly addresses this issue. ... show more

    • It's a good product but expected more
It is not as bright as i anticipated. Setting up was a breeze but it feels like a part was missing. The top is exposed to rain and can gather water very easily. It does not stay on all night and that's because I live on top of a hill with nothing blocking the sun for most of the day if not all.

The illumination is outstanding and being that it is a solar light is impressive. The product and workmanship are excellent. This light is plenty bright, however, even on the LOWEST settings, the light will not remain on all night!!! We are in Florida where there is more than enough sunshine all day to fully charge the battery. Yet, it will not last all night on the lowest settings. Very disappointing.

    • Ordered July 2023. No longer works.
I ordered this in July 2023. Installed shortly after I received it. This light worked well through the spring of 2024. Due to the long days in summer I didn't use it again until now (September 2024). It's completely dead. No way to contact customer service. The support window is closed. Maybe it's something simple. I'll never know. I guess I throw it away. One star. ... show more
