Features

  • Rotatable Horizontal Center Column: The center column can be used vertically (0 /22.5 / 45 / 67.5 / 90) or horizontally. Photographers can more easily achieve panoramic shooting, macro shooting and low-angle shooting. Please note: the calibration lines must be aligned to lock or the column is unstable
  • Practical & Adjustable: the length of the 4 legs can be easily adjusted with a screw-type knob. You can flexibly adjust the working height from 24 inches/60 cm to 75 inches/191 cm in a few seconds, which is easy to carry. The central axis screw can be quickly disassembled and converted into a monopod or cane to provide another convenient shooting method
  • Precise & Flexible: The bubble level can help you quickly find the balance point of the rack. The specially designed ball head is equipped with a 360-degree panoramic view and a metal rotating ball to ensure the accuracy of photography, so that you can get the perfect shooting and breathtakbing panorama every time.
  • High Quality Structure & Strong Stability: The maximum 25mm large diameter magnesium-aluminum alloy tube, the load capacity is up to 22.04lbs, and the anti-slip foot design provides safety and stability support for DSLR cameras
  • Upgraded Design: The angle of each leg can be flexibly adjusted, so it can be used on uneven ground, steps, rocks and other places. With hooks, you can hang sandbags or other heavy objects to increase stability; the 1/4-inch screw hole under the bubble level allows you to use more photographic equipment, such as magic arms, monitors and LED lights

  • Wow, So Many Ways to Use This
Size: US-X25
This is a really nice tripod. There's some many ways to align this unit to get the shot needed. It did take some getting used to on the different knobs, but it wasn't too bad.

  • Hi quality materials, precision machined parts, and smart construction
Size: US-X25
This tripod is professional quality gear. The parts quality, the construction, and buttery smooth action screams “high quality.” Money well spent.

  • Photographer’s Must Have, All in One Tripod!
Size: US-X25
I like so many aspects of this Tripod. I am a YouTube Creator constantly looking for better filming equipment solutions. I create videos related to radio controlled cars and trucks, among others. One of my equipment challenges is filming the building process, illustrating repairs, and reviews. The challenge is of course lighting, but also getting the correct angle to really get in close with the shot so my viewers can really visually see what I am doing. This product is perfect for this application. I really had not seen this product before or knew about it prior to Amazon’s recommendation email. I immediately recognized this Amazon suggestion as valuable to me. More often than not the suggestions I receive from Amazon are items closely related to my recent searches and purchases. In fact, most often products are exactly the same with similar prices. In this case, the Tripod was different and a great different, and at a great price. I shop value, and often photography equipment is with very expensive, or relatively inexpensive. The problem with the inexpensive photo equipment is usually the quality. Functional yes, but typically not long lasting particularly if set up and broken down often and taken to location. The expensive equipment is most often great quality and long lasting; however, not a great value because of the huge markup. This tripod is a larger mid priced product with exciting functional features requiring correct weighting to stabilize, particularly the excellent tilting feature. There is always a trade off between stability and desire for light weight products. Trade offs are most apparent in lesser expensive photography equipment. Retailers offer many inexpensive products with same or similar top features unfortunately quality, testing, and design suffer. The manufacturer of this product absolutely got it right. So what exactly is right about this Trasposition/Tilt/Pivot/Tripod/Monopod? Value! Listed below are the features, aspects, and factors creating value. 1. Shipping was quick (actually 2 days) 2. Saved $20 off listed price using offer presented directly below product listing from page. 3. Tripod came with everything stated, ball head, tripod, and a carrying bag. 3. Compact design fits nicely in carrying bag, and most importantly I was able to easily fit back into carrying bag after setup and tear down. 4. Intial quality is great, aluminum expandable legs/poles use twist locking and unlocking, poles dropped to position correctly needing only gravity. Poles lock securely. Removable Rubber feet consistant between all legs. Monopole convertable. 5 Nice collapsible design, adjustable leg positons, center lock, 360 ball swivel head with level, 25” collapsed 75” max height, center column rotates 360 degrees. 6 Transverse center column, locks, can be extended varying length, AWSM. In sum, the invovative design coupled with quality at reasonable price create great value, highly recomend! ... show more

  • Horizontal mounting of the tripod head bar
Size: US-X25
This review is after usage of the X25D Defender in the field for the last 3 months. It was used multiple times per week and in some cases multiple times per day. I also use the AT24Pro Dreamer by the same company and have for over a year. I purchased the X25 for the horizontal ability of the tripod head mounting. The horizontal system works fine but if you have a full frame camera you will need to splay the legs out extra wide ( which you can - good feature) or you will need a weight bag of some sort as the tripod at full height or even lower does not perform as stable with a full sized camera on the head when horizontal. The other factor which make the X25 my lesser choice for use of the two is the fact that the legs have to be unscrewed to extend vs the AT24 which have the flip levers for extension. Serious time waster to have to unscrew legs. Don't care if all the big names use the system it's a big waste of time in the field. The clip release on the 24 is 5 times faster. The release knob to raise the center column is better on the 25 by design and on the 24 it's once again a knurled knob which in the field ( or cold) is an absolute frustration. Just hard to unscrew, hard to reach and just a bad design choice. If you have no need of the horizontal feature of the 25, buy the 24. It will probably be just as stable as the 25 even with a full size body. Put the clip drop legs on the 25 and I's get one in a heartbeat. There is also a carry bag included w/both. My suggestion is drop sending the bag and reduce the tripod price accordingly. All in all both are very good values for the money but the shortcomings in design on the 25 make it my last choice to field carry, especially in cold weather. ... show more

  • Great product, but issues with price
Size: US-X25
Great tripod and very versatile. My only complaint is I bought it for $145 and in the few days it took to ship they dropped the price by $30. Doesn't seem fair.

  • Cost more than I wanted to spend but worth it
Size: US-X25
I needed a sturdy tripod for a DSLR camera and the one I had laying around was too flimsy to trust. While this one cost a little more than I originally wanted to spend, the features it had made me get it anyway, and I have no regrets. This thing is solidly built. I like the twist release on the legs rather the the more common flip locks. The 360 adjustment is really *smooooth* when you turn it. The horizontal arm option is what really sold me on getting this one. It works out great for macro photography. Between the leg adjustments, the ball mount, the horizontal arm option, being able to flip the center post upside down, and the 360 degree spin, you can lock a camera into any position you need. The most difficult thing about using this tripod is figuring out which screw to loosen when you want to make an adjustment - there are so many! The twist locks on the legs and on the center post took me a while to get used to as there is a gap between when you start turning and when it engages to start releasing. I'm sure it's by design, but just not something I've experienced before. The tripod has a good amount of height to it, and it looks great too. This is currently my favorite piece of camera equipment that I own. ... show more
