Very easy to setup and put to work. Took me about 2 minutes. Popped on the propane bottle and lit it off. It hummed for a second, but then it was running hot and quiet as a mouse. It's not small enough to fit in a backpack, but certainly if you need an outside heater, this will do the trick. It got pretty hot, and I was sitting outside in 40 degree weather. As a bonus, you can flip it up and use it as a cook top, so double duty. ;-) Great value for the price too! ... show more

I really enjoy that it has an adapter for larger tanks, those smaller camping ones are really expensive! It works very well, and I enjoy that it can be flipped for cooking. The down side (image 2 pictured) the markings on the dial face downward. So you can't really see what you're setting it to, I mean you'll know it by the heat intensity, but you can't see it very good. Also, I'm not sure I would want to flip it much with a heavy tank on it, might start weakening the connections etc. Another plus for using the adapter. The last issue I found was the instructions did not tell you how to install the little plate and spring lock, though doing the review I see there is an image you can kind of go by (pictured image 1) Wish I had noticed that beforehand! ... show more

This is a neat thing to have!! You can warm up and cook on it!! It easily hooks up to the propane tank and turns on with no issues! I love it!

Very warm and gets the job done well! Just small enough to be portable and have an option of using different kinds of propane tanks which is nice. Should hold up for a couple years at least no problems.

I love that you can either use a small portable propane tank or a larger tank. This thing puts out a lot of heat and very quickly. On the being able to cook with it... I doubt that is a good idea since the wire frame probably would not hold up well with a heavy item but from a heat perspective, this is great. ... show more
