The media could not be loaded. We love the gas heater. It’s just perfect for our setting. Small enough to be portable and adjustable to any corner of the room, and large enough to heat the area. The dry air that the conventional heaters emit is too much for our allergies and respiratory system. This heater warms up the room avoiding moving the air around excessively. We are looking into getting a second one to heat 2 separate areas of our house. It’s super easy to get started and turns off immediately emitting warmth for a few more minutes. It has the front grill to prevent getting too close. We have 2 small inside dogs and it has not been an issue keeping them safe. With electricity being so expensive, this is a nice alternative to maintain the house warm in winter. We can control how many gas tanks to purchase and how much time to use it for. Definitely not for everyone and every situation. Placement of the heater while in use is a critical component of your safety. I would not use it in a carpeted room or close to upholstered furniture. We have 10+ ft exposed beam ceilings and no attic space. Additionally, mini splits where we live are expensive to install and run. You need to consider your own personal safety and home needs.

It comes assembled. It’s important to remember when lighting this heater to first hold the button down long enough for gas to get thru the line (5 seconds) once the pilot light is lit continue to hold down for another 15 secs at least. This is standard for any type of gas heater. My house was built in ‘58 so it’s drafty plus I have 12 foot ceiling so it’s plenty ventilated. I use it to knock the chill out of an area that’s about 15,000-20,000 sq ft and it does the job in 30 minutes with a ceiling fan set on low spinning backwards. I live in Florida, though, so it’s probably easier to do here. Also, for good measure buy the protection plan, they really are beneficial as I have had to use them on more than one occasion after the warranty expires. Alway, always check the gas lines for leaks with soapy water. Worst case scenario the clicker may not light so keep an arc lighter handy. The wheels come in a locked position so if you’re going to move it around, UNLOCK the wheels FIRST because its rolls really well even over carpet. Common sense dictates if you’re using it outside then the wind can blow out the flame. All things considered I think this is definitely the most bang for your buck. I give it 5 stars.
