  • It just works and well made!
Size: 20 Inch Color: Grey1
4/17/26 update This thing is still going strong, but very difficult to saw a straight line - this thing drifts kind crazy. All the screws are as tight as can be and still a lot of play in the bar. So as long as you don't need to cut straight lines, this thing is fantastic- starts every single time. My Stihl was an absolute nightmare to start- only was able to get that thing to start a handful of times out of the dozens I tried- ended up giving that thing away. Got it last night, assembled in 5 minutes or so, and started up on the 2nd pull. That's a LOT more than I can say for the Stihl I had and gave away- the dozen or so times I tried to use that thing only started twice for me- it was brand new. Brought it back where I bought it from and they had to keep it 3x to work on it. 02/03/26 Update This is a fantastic saw for the money- it just works. Only interesting note is that it EATS gas like there's no business- wondering if there is a break-in period or not, but in my opinion, WELL worth the trade-off. SO nice to have a chainsaw that starts predictably, has plenty of power and gets the job done! ... show more

  • Chain and Bar info.
Size: 20 Inch Color: Grey1
Yes, FIVE stars. And the chain info everyone wants! First upon receiving my latest chainsaw in December 2025 i took my trusty Oregon 556418 Chainsaw Bar & Chain Measuring Tool to the bar and chain. The bar grove for this 20" chainsaw is .063 The chain has 76 drive links. The chain is .325 pitch. The chain gauge is .058 The file used for sharpening is 3/16" As of this post I have over 30 hours of runtime on this saw and even with the blatant miss-size between chain gauge and bar gauge this thing WILL cut while the full 62cc of displacement screams with power. so remember hearing protection. You have been warned. Now after a bit of good service, approximately every 3-5 hours of operation, the thing will start to drift on cuts like your making twisty lumber for Home Depot, especially if you happen to pinch the bar. However a Bar/Rail dressing file will get that square and cutting true again. Also be not afraid to file sharpen this factory chain. All 30+ hours are on the factory chain which was sharpened only when ground strikes occurred and/or when the the wood removed by the chain started to look like powder rather than shavings from a sharp wood chisel. Lastly at the end of each use the remaining fuel was drained and the saw started and idled to clear all fuel from the carburetor. The chain brake cover was also removed and all the wood and oil gunk removed with a stiff plastic brush, and so the saw would always be put away with the chain freshly set to the correct tension and ready for service to prevent frustrations whenever the saw is needed. The air filter was also inspected at the end of each use and cleared with compressed air as needed. My saw has always started easily and without complaint. The lack of a throttle set has never once been an issue with starting this saw. The original spark plug is still being used and has only been removed once for inspection around 10-12 hours of service. I may put a new plug in for next season. This was my second chainsaw from this seller, the first one did have a loose nut on the muffler but on the first start it rattled so bad there was no way to not notice-stop-and-inspect. the nut was tightened and the saw served until it's death when a tree pinched the bar and an unlucky gust of wind fell the tree crushing the saw. as a side note I now keep plastic wedges and a hammer on hand near the tree I am felling. included a few pics of the larger ash trees this saw took down that I can still get to with all the bugs out. ... show more

  • Bad investment
Size: 20 Inch Color: Grey1
Used it for once when I first bought it and it cranked up , worked just fine, tried using it again today, two months later and it won’t start.

  • Great for slow to medium jobs.
Size: 20 Inch Color: Grey1
Cuts as good as big name brands. Great for home owners with middle level jobs, no cheap parts , I compared it to my other saw and motor and parts are same. Meaning no cheap parts. Its a lot quieter than I expected, not quite but a lower sound than other sawa. Very light and easy to use, minimal kickback. ... show more

  • Great saw at a great price
Size: 20 Inch Color: Grey1
Cut down and limbed three hardwood trees. One tree 20" diameter and the other two 12" diameter. Trees had lots of limbs. Saw cranked easily according to directions over three days. Running saw on premixed fuel. Arrived well packaged, with good instructions for assembly and use. Borrowed a very expensive professional saw a few months back for similar work. This saw matched the pro one and has an excellent, sharp chain. This saw is heavier, but I like it more. Fuel window is a plus. Very pleased that I did not spend hundreds more. Would buy again and would recommend. ... show more

  • Very solid and sturdy
Size: 20 Inch Color: Grey1
I bought this for my husband because whenever a tree dies in our yard we take it down ourselves. We have been using a very small chainsaw and it was very difficult. I was tired of seeing him suffer with the small chainsaw and I wanted to get him something bigger and better. I didn't know much about chainsaws so I read a lot of reviews and compared many of them here on Amazon. I really liked this one because it's specifically mentioned being good for felling trees and cutting firewood. It was much larger than the one we have now and upon opening the box I was very pleased with what I saw. It's much heavier than ours, very solid and sturdy. There's nothing cheap about this one, it really seems to be a quality product. The chain came separate from the blade but I will let my husband put that on. It comes with a bag of adjustment tools and an instruction booklet. I like that it mentions that it has high engine performance but low kickback as I don't want my husband to get hurt. It also delivers a steady supply of oil to the chain which even I know is important for the life of the product. It also uses 20% less fuel consumption which I know will make my husband very happy. Overall I am pleased with my purchase and my husband says I picked a really good product. ... show more

  • Fair for small DIY jobs
Size: 20 Inch Color: Grey1
Needs tune-up ( tweeked) as soon as unboxed, engine does not rev to full throttle. Bogs easily. Shuts off when idle sometimes. Good for smaller jobs only.
