I would give this 5 stars but the chain brake snapped when I first used it. I had to bolt the handle in place and now it doesn't work. Other than that minor issue, it actually does cut quite well. Used it for half a day with no issues. Starts very easily compared to my old one

I like that the saw basically came fully assembled and ready to go. I did have to add the bar and chain oil and the gas oil mix. The directions to start and operate the saw were very precise and simple to understand. I used it for about 30 minutes the first day without any issues whatsoever. I'm very impressed with it and it's for the light duty jobs that I have to do on my property. ... show more

    • It's not a 20 inch saw. It's only an 18 inch.

The saw started up well and ran great. The main issue was that the chain is cheap and broke within the first 2 hours of use. I didn't hit anything at all. Was just simply cutting through a downed tree. The chain just broke halfway through the log. I've use many chain saws over my lifetime and have only had 2 chains break in my lifetime. This one broke in under 2 hours use. The company gave me a few bucks back to purchase another chain. But here is the funny part. I bought two high quality 20 inch chains and they are way too long. I couldn't believe it. So just to make sure I wasn't loosing my mind I put the new 20 inch chain on my other saw, that is indeed a 20 inch and it fit perfectly. So there's definitely some false advertising going on. I do suppose there's a chance they installed the wrong size bar on the saw during assembly. But slim chance honestly. The box the saw came in and the saw itself both say 20 inch on them. I hope amazon will look into this false advertising. ... show more
