The media could not be loaded. This is an honest, unpaid review from someone who owned a marble dining table for 13 years before it broke. After a lot of research, I was searching for a solid, extendable table, knowing it would be a big investment. I compared so many options, and even though most reviews were great, I couldn’t find any specifically for the extendable version—so I decided to be the first. If you’re hesitant like I was, don’t worry—this table is fantastic for the price, especially with a discount. Yes, it takes time—expect about 3 to 4 hours of assembly. But if you follow the instructions step-by-step, you’ll end up with a beautiful, solid table. It does have a lot of parts, and you’ll need two people—though a single person could do it, just be prepared to get help flipping it over and handling the large pieces. The materials are great—this table expands just as described, with a perfect size and height. I did see other reviews complaining that water exposure made their wood surface bubble, but I didn’t have that issue. I added a hard plastic cover from the start, and it worked wonderfully—so I highly recommend buying a plastic cover at the same time, so you can start using the table right away. I absolutely love my purchase and hope this helps others who are on the fence. Just be sure to set aside enough time for assembly, and remember it comes in two boxes—open both at the start. Beautiful table obviously it’s made out of cheaper wood so it won’t last as long as traditional solid wood table but it’s beautiful and should last us a few years as a family who doesn’t use a table 3x a day for meals. Assembly took me maybe 1hr it was simple instructions, repetitive. It’s not super wobbly thankfully. The crack down the middle can easily be covered with a table runner.
