This unit cools a large area quickly. The only downside is that it produces a lot of water drainage quickly as well. We had to get a 2 gallon bucket for it.

    • THIS PORTABLE AIR CONDITIONER IS DEFECTIVE!!! DO NOT BUY!!!!
A/C stopped working and seller/ manufacturer refuse to provide a resolution. I ordered this Air Conditioner on June 21, 2025 and it was delivered approximately June 25, 2025. After leaving it in storage in it's original packaging, on June 15, 2026 I took out the A/C and it did not function- no air was blowing out. I contacted the manufacturer (GARVEE) on June 19, 2026 and both Amazon seller and manufacturer claim I am beyond the 12-month warranty window but according GARVEE's website, the 12-month warranty begins on the date of delivery (June 25, 2025) and even so according to the online warranty expiration calculator, the expiration date is exactly June 20, 2026 so either way I am within the warranty window. I have a standard window unit that still works after 5 years (Frigidaire) and GARVEE stops working after one summer?! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE product and even worse company. DO NOT BUY THIS AIR CONDITIONER!!! ... show more

Lost two stars for false advertising. This is a 10,200 btu using the method for measuring btu's in the real world. The 14,000 btu's they are advertising is in perfect laboratory conditions. I'm to old to drag that thing back downstairs to return it. All that said, it's a nice machine with some cool features. Those features are why im keeping it. Its just never gonna replace the 15,000 btu window unit i was trying to not lift anymore. Attached photo shows correct btu on the box that you won't find in the online advertisement. ... show more
