I wish I would have Got this years ago. First time using it . Caught 3 bass in one walk around the pond. Biggest one was 2.42lbs. I have never caught even 1 stinkin fish here and been here 3 times already and skunked every time because its super pressured. This was the fourth time and The Booyah Buzzbait put the hurt on them! haha! Early morning Topwater hits. Super durable, and all the moving parts move flawlessly. I got the smaller size / oz. weight and its perfect. Dont have to retreive so fast because it s little lighter weight. It looks great and the color is perfect for early morning and late night for semi clear to murkey water. It catches them for sure. I love this lure! ... show more

Catches bass. Caught a decent largemouth 10 min into fishing at dusk on a 35 acre pond in VA. My only issue i kept having and perhaps my own fault for using a swivel clip to attach the booyah was that every now and then on retrieve it would come back dragging the lure by the spinner. Ie my swivel clip was coming out of the designed attach point. Thats a problem encountered on almost all of the simarly designed "bass pisser-offers". Overall...good purchase. My only suggestion would be to just tie line directly to the booyah. Dont swivel clip it. ... show more

I purchased this product and fished it the next day with some success. The buzz bait is really easy to use for any angler. Cast it out and reel it in. I like that if you retrieve it slowly it's like a spinner bait. You really have options with this bait. Both the fish I caught the first time using hit this lure on the top of the water but I wasn't reeling in very fast. Just reeling in enough to see the prop on top of the water. I like the weight too of this lure I was casting with a 6 foot ultralight rod with 8lb braid and a 6lb fluorocarbon leader. You really don't need the leader but I just rigged this up for a try. Nice to see both a smallmouth bass and a largemouth bass hit this in the same creek. I like this a little better than the whopper popper/choppo baits as it does sink which I feel makes it more versatile. Adding a trailer hook may be the only upgrade in the future but I'll try a few different things with this bait but as is out of the box it's a winner. ... show more

Too small . The package appeared to have been opened before . Have tried it for bass fishing no bites… but thats just my luck i guess haha. Seems ok quality . Overall average.

I've been using Buzzbaits for quite some time now and no other brand keeps pace with Booyah. Their buzzbaits are built to last; more specifically: the paint does not chip, the skirt is held firmly in place and will not come loose, and the propeller will not easily bend. Note: adding a squeaking sound to buzzbaits is very beneficial, as it adds to the overall noise they emit. To do this: Step 1: Crimp the propeller collar so it no longer moves. Step 2: Use a pair of pliers to squeeze the end of the collar that the propeller makes contact with. Make sure to rough it up so the contact point is no longer smooth. Step 3: Hang the end of your pole out the window of your vehicle and drive 10-15 miles at 55MPH or above so the propeller spins and rubs against the collar. The point of doing this is to wear down the paint around the base of the propeller and cause contact with the underlying metal. This will create a permanent squeaking sound each time you retrieve the buzzbait. For more information search the internet for "how to make my buzzbait squeek" Happy Fishing! ... show more

I bought a buzzbait cause my buddy was raving about them. I picked up this Booyah as this is the brand he said to get. I fish primarily smaller southern ponds so this was perfect size. No lie, second cast I nailed a bass. Not a big guy but still. Hit it like a ton of bricks. I bought the firebug color as most of these ponds I fish are stained. Love it so far. Going to S. Carolina in a few weeks and plan on using it more in the canals. If you throw a lot of spinner baits like I do- this is similar but top water so it can be thrown just about anytime when nothing seems to be biting. ... show more
