I have a have had a lot of gps units over the years. I use them for the airplane and some for the trucks. This one is very good. It slaves to your phone so when a call comes in you can use the gps to accept or decline the call. It is a full function unit. Stop light camera warning etc. Good graphics, fast updating, It only came with a windshield suction cup, but it will accept the former gps dashboard stand which I use. I set it on my steering wheel column in my pickup truck,which works well for navigation, and speedometer. That eliminates any blind spot if mounted on the windshield or dash. ... show more

    • It's big and it works great
This thing is easy to use and is huge! The touch screen is responsive, and the voice command works well, too. It has more features than I'll need, but it also has all the features I really do need. Bluetoothing it over to my phone was easy, but you have to have the Garmin Drive app on your phone. But that makes it great for getting traffic and hazard updates. I'm pleased for what I've paid for it. So I'd say it's a good value. ... show more

This is an awesome GPS as far as the unit goes. The screen is large, but not so large that it blocks your view. It is very different than my old model. The keys are a bit far apart for one handed manipulation. Not too big of a deal though. The unit itself... 5 stars. The maps... for crying out loud, update them as Google kills the maps. The maps are 95% accurate when you are out in the country. I get a lot of calls while travelling for work. (Hands free ;-) ) I don't like to use my phone for this reason.     • Be prepared for road rage.
Its truly a miracle that I've restrained myself from yeeting this thing out of the window on the highway. It is literally the most infuriating device Ive ever owned. It constantly tells me roads are closed that arent. It makes up roads that don't exist and takes me out of the way or makes me take unnecessary exits. I used to use Google maps. But I wanted to free up my phone usage. I drive all over the place between 3 counties daily. I spend many hours on the road, daily. I understand that errors exist and will on any device. But this thing has almost entirely ruined the Garmin brand for me. Stay far far away. ... show more
