So my Garmin was bought refurbished/ like new, for the most part I love it! There are a couple of things to keep in mind with a gps or a least this one. Even after having the latest maps available updated to your Garmin, there still is the possibility of it not having all the latest details. For instance, there is a street near me that was converted from one-way to two-way for a good majority of the road a fews years back. When i turned down the road, my Garmin immediately alerted me to say I was going the wrong way. Great safety feature for those of us who happen not to see any signs. On another occasion, it attempted to take me down a road that didn't appear to be there when i reached to specified turn. Granted, there was construction going on in the area where this road was supposed to be, so I was already keeping alert to what was going on around me. Now keep in mind, the one I have isn't the newest or latest model. I understood that I might hit a couple of issues like this, but it's a good reminder to always be alert to the road and route you're taking. Safe travels everyone, I hope this helps! ... show more

Went 15 years with my old GPS so when this one was plugged in I was happily impressed. The hands free stuff is very convenient, I drive for a living and it's nice to see calls and texts pop up on the screen. The voice recognition is like 60% especially when finding address. Bought this one as Amazon refurbished and have zero problems so far. I've had it roughly 5 months now. Would definitely recommend. ... show more

Received my order promptly. When on a road trip with multiple POI stops and it worked flawlessly. For seniors with weaker eye sight its great. My older GPS with the older type touch screen was almost impossible to read because of the glare. The lager screen and newer type touch screen of this GPS cured that problem. Need to contact the seller because the power cable has the wrong type of connector. Will change rating to 5 star depending how seller responds. Update: Although seller could not provide the correct part they gave a $30.00 refund which I turned around an ordered the correct part. Ended up saving $15.00 in the exchange. ... show more

Worked great for all our addresses across the country. The restaurants and gas stations it said along the route either had been closed or it gave us directions a mile off. We'd stop, no gas station, keep driving and there it would be.

This GPS is great for hands free option when you're going down the road and suddenly need to put in a new destination. You just say "Hey Garmin" find ..... "start." And it will start calculating the new route. It is very good option for someone who is on the road a lot like a Fedex driver or UPS delivery where you're constantly putting in addresses. Also it will show whenever a trooper or cop is up ahead or near. ... show more
