The media could not be loaded. This pergola is top notch quality! I’ve been looking for the right price but excellent quality pergola for over 2 years. I came across Gardesol pergolas and quickly went to the reviews and videos. 1. But now pay later option was a huge plus 2. the pergola came 2weeks early, front door service. Very heavy, delivery guy was exceptional and helpful taking two Big heavy boxes directly to my garage. 3. This pergola took me 2 days to complete. Taking my time I opened and assembled 1 box at a time(3hrs day 1) I needed a second persons help lifting and holding in place only 10 min. Seriously I put this pergola together myself. When finished with 1st box I admired the quality, sturdy powder coated pergola that way half way finished. 4. Day two and 3 hours later I finally finished. The only con was the very last step attaching the bar to the 26 levours. The screws were either too long or the pre drilled hole wasn’t the correct size. This step made my Philips head screw driver to strip. I will need to finish this step with a new Philips head driver to fully screw in to the levoures. So far in central Texas we have had rain and winds up to 35mph. I was anxious to witness this to make sure I did make a good investment. The pergola has built in rain drainage which works perfectly draining into my decking drainage. After a rain just open levours and the slight level of my decking allows a very small tilt to drain right into decking drain. I did not permanently drill pergola into cement. It is free to move. This pergola weights at least 300 lbs I believe. While we had high winds recently the pergola did sway about 2 inches with the wind. I did open levoures as recommended to open for winds, to prevent frame damage. I am hoping it continues to withstand the winds and rain. So far I absolutely LOVE this pergola from Gardesol. I purchased out door curtains and will be using heavy duty magnets to keep curtains in place. I will possibly leave a 1yr review in the future. FYI I did research other people’s reviews 1yr later and it was another selling point that for other customers this pergola held up

We looked at quite a few pergola's before choosing this one. We are incredibly impressed with how well it is made, price and ease of putting together. Our goal was to keep our patio sectional dry in the summer monsoon weather we have. Now there is no more playing the cushion shuffle! It does a great job protecting from furniture from the weather. Even in a windy rain the sofa is not drenched. A little damp but not bad. We purchased the 10 x 10 The pergola comes very well packed and it is set up for a two person install with duplicate specialty tools. My husband is very handy and I am reasonably handy and we were able to put this together in about 3 1/2 hrs. We watched the video provided a few times prior just to make sure we understood the process. They only place we deviated was to install the long side rail at the louvers at the same time as the louvers went it. This allowed us not to be hanging over the deck edge at 16' off the ground if we had done it last as suggested. If you were doing this on the ground it would be no big deal, but our deck is about 9' off the ground. We love this pergola and are just sad we did not buy it sooner!

PERGOLA WITH VERY GOOD QUALITY AND DESIGN

My husband and I put this together in about 4 hours or so. The instructions were pretty clear and it was easy to install. We were pleasantly surprised at how well it kept the rain out. It really does seal well and you can see the water drip into the built in gutter catch on the sides. Perfect addition to our deck!

Love the adjustable louvers! Really need three people to assemble. A little tricky to square and plumb, but so worth it. Love!
