The media could not be loaded. Reviewing the GardenJoy 40V Cordless Leaf Blower. An effective idea for cleaning gutters on the house, without having to climb up a ladder. Also functions as a standard cordless leaf blower by removing the gutter extension. Blower has a lot of wind power for its size, but VERY loud (especially on high speed) – definitely recommend using ear protection when using this product. Works best when gutter and debris are dry. Pine needles tend to get blown down to one end and bunching up there, possibly requiring ladder to get up there and pulling out a large clump of pine needles from the ends. Does an excellent job completely blowing out leaves and other small debris. Battery charger gets fairly hot when in use – suggest removing charger as soon as battery is completely charged. I liked the adjustable tube and the weight distribution was great. However, I had to return it because the battery would not recharge. Plus I have never used such a loud tool. My animals all ran for cover.

I eagerly opened up the box containing this blower and put it together. It looked so great. I'd never had a leaf blower with an extension on it or one that I could change the angle of, so I turned it on with great expectations. What a disappointment! The blower fan is not enclosed and the air that it puts out is not directed into the blowpipe. So you can blow some leaves around but you can't direct them to where you need them to go. I put it down and picked up the instruction booklet and found 6 pages of warnings and a couple of pages under "Installation Guide" and nothing about this problem I had. The blower motor and the blowpipe came packed as 1 piece so I don't think I could've put it together wrong since I just had to add the handle. This product had a lot of promise, unfortunately, it just didn't work for me.

This is a great yard leaf blower; it is super easy to use, and the battery charges very quickly. I love the directional cone that really helps you focus on tight, specific areas you want to clean up, but it can also reach wide, open spaces as well. This was perfect for my medium-sized yard and made clearing the street curb and storm drains so much easier.
