Doesn't work. Put it together despite the horrible assembly directions - useless! And it doesn't turn on. Have the proper rated extension cord, works for other equipment, on the current outlet. Chipper won't turn on! Can I give it zero stars? Updating this to 5 stars. Seller returned my email and gave a couple tips that of course were not in the directions. Turns out my catcher tub wasn't in just right - grrr. But now that we have that sorted I love it! Have nothing to compare it to, but it takes coconut palm fronds and turns them into mulch. In fact, took all the smaller debri in the neighborhood after Huricane Milton. Thanks to FEMA for taking so long to show up I got free mulch using this champ!

I purchased this when snow was still on the ground preparing for spring, I go to use this wood chipper, and it seizes up when I use anything larger than a dime, and the small sticks shred into long jagged strips. NOT CHIPS. I requested a return, the window for return was closed before I even opened the box. I contacted customer service three times, each time they stated they would issue my return, when I followed up after the 24 hours without receiving a confirmation, I went through the whole explanation process, and false promise of a return. They then stated they had to wait for seller to respond, which they haven’t. As of now I’m out money, and have a useless unit. Does not work!

The media could not be loaded. I gotta be honest, i did not buy this to shred yard waste, i bought it to grind up corn for my chickens. it works perfect for my use and for this i do recommend it.. im sure it will shred leaves just as well.

However they sent ear protection, eye protection and gloves. It handles twigs but the whole isn’t large enough to dump leaves in it

Do not buy. When assembling, there are parts that do not appear in the instructions that are necessary to attach the bin and the wheel frame. I had not intended to buy a puzzle. More importantly, my chipper ceased up after about a week’s work. A critical component of the motor/cutter blade assembly is the plate the motor and the blade drive are mounted on. A belt connects the motor to the blade pulley and shaft. The plate is made of plastic. As the motor heats up, the plate melts as the tension of the belt pulls the motor toward the blade shaft. Eventually, the misalignment of the motor causes it to cease up. This critical plate needs to be made of a material; such as steel, that can withstand the heat generated. As for my chipper, all the cheap plastic parts are a pile of junk dumped in its bin.
