    • A little heavier than I was expecting
Just hooked this hose up to my house. It holds securely to the spigot with no leaking. It does comes with a complimentary spray nozzle with multiple spray options. It also comes with additional rubber washers which is nice. The nice feature of this is that it doesn't kink or crush. My only issue was that it is a bit heavier than expected. My wife was using it to spray off our deck and she noted that it seemed quite a bit heavier than our old expanding/shrinking hose. However, if you have an old rubber type hose, this one probably isn't that much heavier than that one. If I can compare this hose to anything, it's kind of similar to the hose attached to the sprayer on your kitchen faucet. Overall, we do like it. ... show more

    • Good hose, shallow threads on end
I used this hose to drain our inflatable pool. We need to clean it out every couple of weeks so the grass around it can be mowed without risking a puncture. We commonly use the drained water to water some fruit trees and other parts of the yard. I was going to attach this hose to our immersible pump, but I couldn't get it to connect to the threads! Looking inside I saw the threads were VERY shallow, add in the thick washer included and I couldn't get any grip at all on the pump's threads. In the end I had to remove the washer, and accept a small amount of leaking (not an issue since the pump sits in water). The hose is very flexible, although not crazy high capacity so the draining took a little longer than with a higher capacity hose. Feels solid, I expect it to last for years. ... show more

This is quite lightweight for a metal hose. Seems to work just as good as a rubber one. I have really good water pressure and it does fine for this, as did it hooking up to a water pressure machine. A couple things to consider: Trying to hang this, is a bit difficult as the metal slides all over the place. This might bust if accidentally run over by a vehicle. ... show more

Living in the desert southwest, having a reliable sturdy hose for watering is essential. I use a hose reel to store my hoses and standard rubber hoses invariably kink and/or rot out but that's not an issue with this type of stainless steel armored hose. It coils up nicely and evenly on the reel and has enough flexibility to make it easy to maneuver even when at its full length. The brass fittings are solid and an extra set of washers is provided in the event your to replace one on either the hose or included sprayer head. The connections mate up cleanly and seal with no leaks and it does everything you would ask of this type of garden hose without issues. The sprayer head has the standard spray options that you would expect and puts out a good amount of flow depending on your water pressure. The handgrip is comfortable and has the conventional trigger grip with a plastic screwcap/metal brace arrangement to keep it open for prolonged usage. The trigger pin is plastic as well, so prolonged sun exposure and/or use will likely see this as a potential failure point over the long haul. I personally prefer the thumb slide controller type sprayer heads that control flow but this will provide a decent backup should my go-to sprayer ever die on me. ... show more

I wasnt sure how this SS hose would turn out but I am happy with it. It is definitely lighter than a standard green garden hose and it is flexible to move easily with you and not fight against you with heavy hoses. Seems turdy and the water flow out is so much better than my previous 75 SS hose which choked the water flor over a long distance. This 50 foot hose with a slightly larger dia made a huge difference. ... show more

The metal garden hose is extremely lightweight and highly flexible. It can be hung on hose reel, or wound into a hose storage box. It includes the hose and a 10-function nozzle. Because it's metal, it won't dry out in the sun. I ordered this because we've gone through several hoses due to the fact we live in a hot, dry, climate. Even when we keep them in a storage box, they dry out. So far, so good with this one! Hopefully I'll be able to update in a few months that it survived the summer! ... show more
