I had my doubts about this before I bought in preparation for a big party at our house where our garage was where we would serve a lot of food. It not only kept the bugs out, later in the evening when I fired up the propane heat, it even did a good job of keeping the heat in! I love the magnetic closures. This screen is exactly what I wanted to be able to work in the garage and not have to deal with flies and mosquitos. I can just walk right through the magnetic seam and right back in and know that it is just going to work. Rolling it up isn't difficult, but it a bit does take some effort to keep it straight while doing so. It is a little long for the garage opening, but I actually like that. I think it keeps some of the crawlies from getting in, too. 100% would recommend.

This is a great screen that covers my single car garage door perfectly. The magnetic opening is strong and stays closed well. I didn't think the adhesive stuck to my wood trim very well, but you can get lots of things to help secure the velcro to the wood. The issue I have is when I need to open the screen to get my car in and out. I drive an SUV and there is no way to get in or out of the garage without having to undo the velcro from the sides and roll it up. There are clips at the top to keep it secured, but it is an absolute mess and looks awful no matter how you roll it. The left and right pieces are just too large to neatly/tightly roll up and store. We have similar screens over our doorways and those have straps on the sides that hold the screen open. Not sure why I didn't think about this not being an option for the garage screen when I bought it. If you plan to get this screen and hang it over a garage space that does not require you to remove/roll up each day then this will be perfect for you. I park my car in the garage every day and it's just not practical to keep up at all times and have to deal with undoing the velcro and rolling it up each time I go in or out in the car. Over the weekends when I don't have to get in the car on a consistent basis, I've kept the screen up and it's been great. Unfortunately, I have to take the screen completely off and store it in the garage until I'm ready to use it again. It also comes with push pins to help secure it, but I realized after adding 6-8 pins across the top that I wouldn't be able to take the screen off unless those came out as well. It's really not a huge deal, but I was hoping to be able to leave it up like our door screens and pull it to the sides when not needed. That's not really an option if you have to pull the car in and out frequently. Maybe with a smaller car that can fit through the opening without undoing the velcro, but not with a wide SUV like mine.

Update: Oct 2020 the Velcro glue strips do not hold on long on my stucco house. After many failed attempts to keep the glue holding. I ended up punching hole in the binding allowing me to screw the screen onto the stucco. The screen itself is holding up wonderfully. The weighted bottom is awesome keeps toads, frogs out and flying bugs. The crawling bugs like ants and spiders still at times get in. I’m 5’2” widow and I was able to put it no problem with a ladder. This screen was recommended by my neighbor who have had some problems with the magnetics sticking to the garage but I think I fixed that problem by added the padded side of the Velcro that I purchased as back up. Now it works and looks great. I just hope it holds up

Purchased to use on porch in apartment unit. Fit perfectly, works well to keep insects out so we (and the cat) can enjoy the door open. It helps keep cat in as well, however, we also purchased a plastic netted barrier prior to keep the cat from skipping through the bars. Double protection, she can't jump over if she got the mind too. Several individuals have stopped to ask where I purchased. I have forwarded the link and they have purchased as well. We are happy with this purchase. It was an inexpensive quick fix to be able to enjoy this small area while we're here.

I was so happy with it at first but then when you constantly have to put it up and down the velcro starts coming off you trim and pulls the paint. We've have to staple and nail it down more in the sides and it's still coming off. It even ripped in half on the bottom. The net is thick but the adhesion sucks. I'm very upset because I really wanted to love this.
