Keep in mind that there isn’t a way to completely block the sound and you’ll be alright. My door is hollow and my neighbors are nosey. With a combination of the weighted door blanket and the bathroom fan, I have successfully blocked them out. There is a Velcro strip on the back. If you’re using the Velcro you won’t be able to hang it from the hooks they provide. The Velcro has some intense adhesive, so that is a bonus. The hooks are great quality! Which was a surprise. The smell from the product is very mild and should air out in a few days. Shipping is a patience tester. Mine appeared 3 weeks before it was supposed to, so that was another bonus. This was purchased as a noise cancelling item. It probably works well for wind and water but did not make any difference. I when I went to return it, I had to request the return address because the 3rd party company did not send it to me. When I received the address to return the product, I had to pay approximately $38.00 to mail it back to them. They said the did not receive it, and offered me 20% off the purchase price. Unfortunately, I am not able to find the UPS slip I was given when I returned it; so here is the break down: -$50.00 for the HORV Door Curtain -$38.00 for returning the Door Curtain 88.00 total spent $5.40 refund amount ----$82.60 FOR NOTHING ... show more
