I used this bc I needed my elderly dogs to go in and out when I was out of the house. I tried a regular mesh version but my house got way too hot in 100 degree weather. This one really helped keep the most of the heat outside. Now I don't have to keep bugging my neighbors to let my pups outside.

This was exactly what I wanted. I needed something to block the light coming in from our door, while still allowing my cats access to our room (cause they are divas and would meow if the door was shut). It was not too difficult to install, the elastic straps do a good job at holding the “door” open and the magnetic strip in the middle works well. While it doesn’t say it’s made of “black out” material, it also does a really good job of blocking the light. We had a little issue with the roll of elastic the product came with as it was hard to keep it straight. It wasn’t too difficult, but it also wasn’t as easy as some of the other reviewers made it sound. Overall though, I am happy with the product. ... show more

    • Perfect tool to divide a space and keep some rooms cooler
I use this curtain to separate my kitchen and apartment entryway from the rest of my apartment. I use it to keep the hot air in my west-ward facing kitchen in the afternoons/evenings. This lets my 1 air conditioner, a window AC, keep the rest of the apartment cooler. I can even use a cord to gather up part of the curtain to let some air through, as needed. Other times I use a cord and bundle the curtains together to be able to walk through easily. These curtains are of heavy material and close together magnetically with strong magnets, as promised.
