Great product - solid and makes me warm and fuzzy inside that it’s Made in America! Easy install , great directions. Used some white lithium grease on the points they said to lubricate. Paired these with new Penguin Bearings rollers. I had a major gap (about half inch) that these ended up closing all the way for me , with a nice tight seal. Also - a lot quieter than my older ones. My previous hinges were a lot thinner , these are thicker by a lot and also bigger in size , very sturdy pieces. Follow the directions and you won’t have an issue. Amazing Product, I have been working on making my garage an office and gym so insulation has been vital. The garage being a large obstacle has definitely been a pain but this project seals it up nice. Installed the day we had heavy winds and sure it was compromised by a few heavy gusts but the it seals back immediately with no residual shakes. With my weather stripping installed, there is no air leaks. Btw, that green and gold is beautiful ... show more

These were easy to install, once I read the instructions and figured out there was a number stamped on each (1, 2, 3). I had to uninstall the first set to install in order but it was quick and easy. The worst part was the years of lubricant that i had sprayed on the track. I replaced these and the rollers and the garage door is very snug and as of today, which is really windy, there are zero cracks and the door isn't moving. It's a two-car door and solid wood and these brackets hold it quite nicely to the frame where I used to have a ½" to ¾" gap. I added new nylon rollers to the mix and I can't even hear the door while it's in motion unless I'm in the garage. ... show more

The price is high, but they are well made and do the job intended: hold the door against the seal to stop air leaks. They are pretty easy to install and hold the door tight against the seal. I adjusted the tracks slightly so they are evenly loaded. The only drawback is that by holding so tight, they increase the drag on the door making it more difficult to raise and lower. I've sprayed it with dry lube which helped, but it's still pretty stiff. Update: I installed a Chamberlain garage door opener; it has no problem with it. ... show more

Impressive! Great instructions included and there are videos you can watch for install. These were easy to install! Very impressed how well they work to keep the doors pressed against weatherstripping. Also impressed at the build quality of these. Substantial thickness and quality made! I thought they seemed expensive but the quality and end result is worth every penny. I also ordered a set (different company) of new nylon ball bearing rollers. Since I had the hinges off, it made sense to upgrade the rollers too. Worth the money to keep debris, wind and rain from entering in through gaps on the sides. During strong winds the doors would move in and out. Fixed that too! Highly recommend. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Our garage doors are good quality and well insulated. However, they face west and rattle quite a bit during high winds.from the NW. When it's below freezing outside there's several times the snow or ice didn't melt off our cars inside the garage. So, I did some research on how to resolve this issue. I narrowed it down to Thermotrack railings and green hinge. Thermotrack seemed good but required me to remove the side railings and green hinge was to just replace one hinge at a time. It was a no-brainer for me. I could not be happier! Our doors don't rattle anymore even with the 35-40 mph winds we had the other day. The doors are basically airtight and the temperature in the garage is 20-30 degrees higher than the outside. What really stands out is how I don't even feel a breeze in the garage anymore. The air is still. I decided to add a ceramic heater in the garage and the temperature has been steadily over 40° for the past 3 weeks Even when it's 10° outside. I can't speak enough of this product. I'm extremely impressed and I can't recommend it enough. If you have leaky garage doors you're going to be amazed by this simple upgrade. I added a little video I hope it helps. ... show more
