Watch the Amazon delivery persons very closely. They moved the fridge with the dolly in the back of the fridge and bent the motor pan very badly as the wheels don’t even touch the floor and the sides are dented in. A couple hoses were compressed (as in 3rd pic) and I had to gently move them so they wouldn’t be kinked. I think it’s too late to exchange as they took the boxes. Also make sure all the screws are in place, I‘m missing one. But! The fridge is super cute and works well. Like others say, the handles should be made of metal instead of plastic. ... show more

    • Don't Buy It No Matter How Cute It Is
I bought this for a friend as a birthday gift, as her old fridge had finally given up. At first she loved it-- so cute, just the right size for the kitchen. Well, within a few months, the problems started. It iced up. Really badly. She defrosted it (and you thought the days of having to defrost a fridge were long over!), and within a couple of months, it iced up again. And again. And again. I'm no appliance expert, but it's pretty clear the defrost timer was bad. Google says this is a known problem with these fridges. Galanz customer service was no help at all. She contacted them a number of times before they replied with something other than vague, bad-translation English, canned responses. They don't service their fridges, as it turns out-- only give a refund if you complain repeatedly. Fortunately, my friend is a determined woman, and she kept at them, sending photos, descriptions of the problem, and order receipts several times. At last they said they were putting a refund in the mail. After 6 weeks, no refund. She contacted them yet again, and they made a million excuses-- problem with the courier (courier? now the USPS is a courier, seriously?), unexpectedly long "processing times," blah blah blah. She finally got the refund but minus the sales tax. Yep. After contacting them a final time, they said they don't refund the sales tax. This can't be legal. Don't buy this pretty but really crappy fridge. The good reviews are from people who just got it. Check out the ones from people who've owned it for more than 5 minutes. ... show more

    • Love this fridge!
After reading all of the reviews and then looking around at other refrigerators in the stores, I decided to go with this refrigerator. It meets the tall factor I needed a little over 69" It is not as wide as my previous monster or as deep but close. It's perfect for just myself and my two boys that remain in the household soon to be one boy so it will just be two of us. With three of us I feel I could use a little more freezer space. The temperature in the refrigerator does well on setting 3 but seems to freeze stuff in the top left hand corner, but temperature 2 is too low. So I just keep stuff that can freeze in that section. As far as the door handles being plastic? Well, they don't look it or even feel it for that matter. I love this refrigerator! ... show more

Our refrigerator broke. I tried to get this at Home Depot. It was a nightmare. They kept cancelling the delivery after promise after promise. Our food was spoiling, ice was dripping. Saw it on Amazon, they delivered it the next day.

    • Fragile and hums, but it’s cute.
First fridge I ordered came damaged (7/24). The drip pan was completely shattered and the plastic cover on top was severely cracked from a rough shipment. Called Amazon and they offered to replace it or refund me. I took them up on the replacement and it arrived 2 days later. This time, the plastic cover on top was kinda cracked, but the drip pan was fine. Meh, I’ll take it. Amazon was supposed to pick up the original damaged fridge. Delivery drive said otherwise and left without taking it. I called and Amazon said they were supposed to take it. Now ive been waiting since then for them to pick it up from a 3rd party company. It is September 16th and I still have the fridge. 🥲 Overall, the fridge works well for my place and needs. It hums kinda loud because the fan in the freezer rubs on the cover. It’s unfortunate but I’ve gotten used to it. Tons of compliments from friends and guests though 😆 I’m not sure id recommend buying an appliance through Amazon because I’ve realized their goal is to get it to you ASAP. They couldn’t care less about picking it back up. 😅 ... show more

    • Super disappointed. Did not work from first day
I should know by now when a price is too good to be true there’s a reason. The red 12 cubic feet refrigerator did not work from the first hour and now is in the way, created a ton of extra work and is a major disappointment. The freezer part works but the bottom refrigerator section has never made it below 50 degrees. I should have listened to the other reviews. Now I have to wait over a week for this thing to be picked up. And I don’t get my money back until it’s picked up so I have no fridge and no money to buy a different fridge. UPDATE: So Amazon was good about helping me set up the return but this had to be picked up by a freight company and the pick up was very unsettling. The driver pickup person was first two hours early. Not a big deal. But then he was angry because of a small 3 inch drop from our doorway where this was supposed to be for him to pick up to the stoop just outside our door. Instead of using the dolly he just grabbed this fridge and dragged it down that little step down and then down another similar about 4 inches high and both concrete. The plug was not secured and I tried to tape it telling him multiple times the plug is dragging and please stop until I can secure it. I was preparing this when he showed up much earlier than scheduled. He said “I don’t give a f~€%” and finally put the fridge into the dolly and took it to the truck with the plug hanging the whole time. I was so upset I called Amazon immediately. This better not affect my refund. It’s bad enough this was such a huge disappointment and major inconvenience to have big fridge that doesn’t work taking up space. But now this and worrying about it arriving so I can get my money back. I will be calling the shipping company. Horrible experience. I will never order anything large from Amazon ever again. ... show more
