    • RUN AWAY from this gorgeous looking hunk of nothing
Ordered this gorgeous fun fridge as an extra to have for wine, beer, and parties. An amazing piece of eye candy that only satisfies if you wish to visually admire it from afar. Do not be fooled by Galanz description. This will NOT cool anything, nor will Galanz work with you to resolve the problem within this faulty piece of good lookin' plastic. Bought in June 2021. Chilled for one week, then this fridge turns into a fancy closed shelf unit to keep anything you want warm. Finally, a warranty service in August, followed by an email in September to be told 'they didn't have the part to fix it.' Update by email - no part so a full refund of costs to be issued, including the removal of this lovely looking hunk of nothing. Enter radio silence. Emails sent to Galanz through October without any acknowledgement or response. November. Finally spoke to a human at Galanz who could not have been more verbally insulting if he tried. Rude and unhelpful, with a heaping side of condescending. In complete despair, called Amazon.... where DEBBIE GETS 10 STARS for amazing service. One call to Amazon and in 20 minutes, Debbie had taken care of the entire nightmare. Love Amazon.... got nothing for Galanz.... run away. ... show more

    • Love this fridge!
After reading all of the reviews and then looking around at other refrigerators in the stores, I decided to go with this refrigerator. It meets the tall factor I needed a little over 69" It is not as wide as my previous monster or as deep but close. It's perfect for just myself and my two boys that remain in the household soon to be one boy so it will just be two of us. With three of us I feel I could use a little more freezer space. The temperature in the refrigerator does well on setting 3 but seems to freeze stuff in the top left hand corner, but temperature 2 is too low. So I just keep stuff that can freeze in that section. As far as the door handles being plastic? Well, they don't look it or even feel it for that matter. I love this refrigerator! ... show more

    • Perfect sized fridge
I bought a house with a small kitchen where space means everything. I went to Lowes and HomeDepot to find the 12 to 18 cubic foot fridge. Both stores could special order them, but neither had them I stock. The cost for a 18 foot cubic fridge was I the $1400 range, and could take up to 6 weeks to get delivered. So before I purchased, I went to Amazon and found the Galanz 12.5 Cubic foot!!! It was in stock, half the price, ad has a really cool retro look to it. It has all the space I needed and I like how the temperature is digital and the whole inside of the has a really neat lighted glow to it.     • Super disappointed. Did not work from first day
I should know by now when a price is too good to be true there’s a reason. The red 12 cubic feet refrigerator did not work from the first hour and now is in the way, created a ton of extra work and is a major disappointment. The freezer part works but the bottom refrigerator section has never made it below 50 degrees. I should have listened to the other reviews. Now I have to wait over a week for this thing to be picked up. And I don’t get my money back until it’s picked up so I have no fridge and no money to buy a different fridge. UPDATE: So Amazon was good about helping me set up the return but this had to be picked up by a freight company and the pick up was very unsettling. The driver pickup person was first two hours early. Not a big deal. But then he was angry because of a small 3 inch drop from our doorway where this was supposed to be for him to pick up to the stoop just outside our door. Instead of using the dolly he just grabbed this fridge and dragged it down that little step down and then down another similar about 4 inches high and both concrete. The plug was not secured and I tried to tape it telling him multiple times the plug is dragging and please stop until I can secure it. I was preparing this when he showed up much earlier than scheduled. He said “I don’t give a f~€%” and finally put the fridge into the dolly and took it to the truck with the plug hanging the whole time. I was so upset I called Amazon immediately. This better not affect my refund. It’s bad enough this was such a huge disappointment and major inconvenience to have big fridge that doesn’t work taking up space. But now this and worrying about it arriving so I can get my money back. I will be calling the shipping company. Horrible experience. I will never order anything large from Amazon ever again. ... show more
