Using an office chair for gaming?? That was the recommendation I saw on a video from a gaming channel. I tried several times. It was the typical Goldilocks scenario. The first one was too big in the seat. The second one supported 400lb but was too tiny for me. I looked at what seemed like hundreds of chairs, gaming and non. I even ordered a gaming chair, but then after looking at the specs more carefully cancelled my order. Finally, I took a plunge on this one, and I have not been disappointed. The assembly was easier than I expected. I was afraid to try it out, but when I did, it worked! Good lumbar support. Nice reclining! Rolls well on my berber carpet (low pile). Good cushion. Now let's see how it holds up!

I HATE this chair. Legs are detachable and mine got 1 leg that looked melted on one end and consequently the wheel cannot be fully inserted making the chair lean to one side. On the same leg the retaining screw hole does not line up with the brass fitting that it should screw into. I kind of got the leg working, except the lean and the chair makes my back ache in less than an hour. The support line that was printed with the install instructions in not a working number and I neglected to buy extended coverage. I HATE this chair.

First, let me admit that I'm picky about chairs -- I spend a lot of time at a desk, so it's important for a chair to be comfortable and functional. This one is both, but it's not a perfect score in any category. The chair arrives efficiently packed in a box that is both smaller and heavier than you expect. The instructions for assembly are definitely better than average -- the translation to English is even 95% correct, and easy to figure out and follow. Disposable-quality tools (allen wrench, etc.) are included to facilitate assembling the chair. From cutting the box open to being able to sit in the chair was probably a 15-20 minute period, including interruptions from curious officemates wondering what I was banging around in my office. The chair itself is reasonably comfortable, with one major caveat: you must like a mesh chair, or you will not like this one. I am ambivalent about mesh chairs. This one conforms to the body and is reasonably comfortable, but they all have drawbacks. They're cooler in the summer, but that also means they're cold in the winter -- there is no upholstery or padding or anything else to keep you warm here. Depending upon your office climate, that may be very important. Second, mesh is really hard on clothing. I finally got rid of my Herman Miller Aeron chair when I realized that the mesh was fraying my dress pants and very expensive wool suit coats. (That's an expensive chair, but it was cheap in comparison to the clothes it chewed up!) As to this particular chair, the adjustability is good, and that earns it some stars. The casters are average quality, but the hydraulic lift and tilt mechanism is a notch up from a cheap chair you might get at the big box office supply store. The headrest is a nice addition if you are reclined to read, for example. On the downside, though, the chair is narrower than I expected. It looks big, but it really isn't very wide. (And I'm not very wide, either, with a 31" waist. I fit in this chair and don't find it uncomfortable, but if I put on ten pounds or if this chair was an inch narrower, I wouldn't want to sit in it.) In my opinion, this falls into the category of "task chair." It's a little nicer than most in that category, with arms that can be folded up and the headrest, but it's not a primary desk chair that you want to sit in all day. The mesh in this is even more abrasive than my old Herman Miller chair, so I'm not going to sit in this thing while wearing a four-digit expensive suit. For a home office where you're in jeans, and maybe spending an hour, it's probably a good choice. For an 8 - 5 office where you're wearing nice clothing, I'd search for an alternative.

Super easy to assemble, and very comfortable. I highly reccomend this chair. The headrest adjustment is nice, and I really like the mesh material. Overall appers to be very high quaility.
