This is my second mesh office desk chair, I specifically buy mesh chairs for how breathable they are and this one does just that. There have been a couple of quality of life aspects of this chair I liked much better than my old one. Pros: Mesh arm cushions that are already far superior than the old foam ones and are quite sturdy. The lumbar back support makes the chair look cool and very comfortable to sit on for long periods of time. The headrest comes with an easy to use adjustable height making it great to customize for reclining. Gabrylly customer support is amazing, I put in a ticket for the wheels getting caught on the carpet and they quickly identified the problem and sent over alternative Blade Wheels I could substitute the default wheels with. Blade wheels made this chair so much better for using it on carpet because you can actually move around with them. Cons: This is more of a con for mesh chairs in general, they seem to gather dust at the base of the chair over time. The structure and design of the base makes it difficult to clean between the gaps of the bottom part of the seat. Overall this is a superb chair and I would highly recommend it. ... show more

So few chair manufacturers make chairs with mesh seats so I was happy to find this highly rated GABRYLLY ergonomic chair. With an all mesh chair you don't have to worry about the foam seat flattening down and losing support, nor being too hot to sit in. This is a great chair, exactly as described. Assembly takes some time but was a breeze - all the bolts and washers are clearly labeled. They even wrap the left and right components in different colored plastic, making it easy to confirm you have the correct piece. If you've never assembled a desk chair I recommend watching the video before starting to help familiarize yourself with the process. The chair is sturdy and very comfortable to sit in. All of the tilt, rock and height adjustments work smoothly. The flip up arm rest work well, and make it easy to move the arms out of your way quickly The only point deduction would be for the headrest, which is difficult to adjust and gives the impression that it will snap off with any additional force. My college age son took this chair with him to his dorm to use at his desk. However, the layout of his room resulted in having his area rug was positioned near but not fully under his desk. The provided wheels rolled great on the bare floor and okay on the rug but really struggled moving back and forth from the bare floor to rug. Remembering the instruction manual included an email to request blade wheels, I sent a message to GABRYLLY explaining my son's issues. I got a response the next day from May who replied that they would they send me a set of blade wheels at no additional cost. They arrived soon after and now the chair rolls effortlessly. I am very happy with this chair. My old chair was the the same chair I’ve had for many yeats and it got to the point where there was no coushion left on it. My posture and health was becoming affected by sitting in my old chair for hours on end. I dont have a lot of money and I had to push myself to buy a new chair even though my old one made me miserable. Maybe I’m not used to having something comfy and new, but this chair has already made my life better. I stream on kick and twitch fulltime and this chair has immediately impacted my mood in a positive way. It was cheap, easy to build, comfortable, and even allows air flow through the back and bottom of the seat. I can sit for longer periods of time without getting sweaty from the chair. Also when I fart it has a place to go. I’m very satisfied with this purchase. It was cheaper so I suspect it may not last very long, which is fine, for the price I would buy another one in a year or two. I have a carpet so the wheels dont roll very well but they do offer a bladed wheel upgrade on their website so I may end up prding those and hopefully it will fix my issue. I’m not gonna lie, I probably could give this product a lower star rating, but I’m just so happy I have something new after years of discomfort. I dont live a life of luxury but purchasing this chair made me feel like royalty. 5/5 would recommend, I’ll probably buy again. ... show more

I needed a chair for an employee who is larger than most and whose comfort is important because of the job they do. I didn't want to spend $800 on a desk chair and it didn't need to be a "gaming" chair. I found this one with lumbar support and fold-up arms and a gas piston height adjustment that manages a user up to 350 lbs. It also had to be stable, so the 5-pointed star wheel arrangement was a good sales point. I didn't really need a head rest but that was a bonus although I don't anticipate this employee will be using it at all. The fold up arms are helpful because it means the chair can be pushed more completely under the desk when not in use. Construction was easy and accomplished with the included tool. The design appears to be sturdy and I think the plastic used for the majority of the chair will be more than adequate. The chair legs seem to be made of thermoplastic and look substantial enough to support my employee. While this employee's office is carpeted, there is an optional blade wheel set avaialbe, but not included in the box, to work better on hard floors. I didn't notice what the cost of those replacement wheels. This black mesh high-back armed office chair was easy to assemble taking only 30 minutes including the time to break down the box for recycling. The packaging was common sense and was not excessive in use of materials. I wish companies would begin using plastic bags (for protecting cosmetic surfaces while in transit) that decompose into non-toxic material when exposed to water since my city does not accept plastic bags in the recycling stream. I tried the chair and while the height adjustment arm is positioned a bit too far back when seated naturally, it does function well when searching for the proper work height. The suppllied wheels move well on the floor and swivel nicely when changing direction. The flip-up arms are at a reasonable height for me, but I'm 6'3" and I wonder if a normal-height person would find them comfortable. I have lower back issues and while I didn't sit in this chair for an entire day, I did test it for about 5 hours after assembling it and had good support without making my legs feel like the circulation was cut off. Also, the mesh seat and back (and headrest) are well-constructed. One final set of comments: so far the employee has been very happy. They also suffer from lower back issues and they have found the lumbar support (even though not adjustable), to be very good. Also, the width of the chair is good for this person who is about 260 lbs, a bit more than recommended by most chairs I'd considered. Given the requirements for the extra load, I am very happy with the quality and cost of this slightly-more-than-basic office chair. ... show more

Saw a very positive review from a fellow 6'2 individual, so I felt pretty optimistic about buying this chair. A lot of other great reviews as well. Unfortunately for me, this chair is just uncomfortable. I'm not sure exactly what it is, but after sitting in it for around 2 hours for work I have pretty gnarly pain in my hips/legs. Positives are it was easy to put together, and seems to be sturdy enough. I like the headset/backrest construction as well. Unfortunately it doesn't seem comfortable for taller folks as I was hoping. ... show more
