  • Don’t Purchase
This scooter is junk!! I bought this scooter because my college is very scooter friendly. Well, the throttle broke after 3 months of use and I no longer can use it. There is absolutely no warranty or customer service. My roommate has the same scooter, and the throttle broke for him too. I have watched numerous YouTube videos, trying to figure out how to fix the throttle, and nothing works. It’s almost like they want me to buy a new one. Do not purchase this scooter! ... show more

  • Great scooter for small commutes
Great commuter scooter, just get the protection plan incase of any issues. I would upgrade the wheels and suspension. But other than that good scooter.

  • Fun family memories
We purchased 2 of these for my 11 and 14 yr old to have family fun on. We have gone for miles together. We purchased seats for them since we, as a family, go on bike rides that are long. We spend hours on these and they've been great. Great value for the money. Good quality. Fun to ride.

  • Could be a lot better + useful addendum
First off, the assembly directions are not adequate and even confusing. One only needed to do a couple of things but where should I stuff all that wire into the handle-bar rod when there is a switch inside obstructing insertion? Again directions for everything were inadequate. Why do I need an app to run a scooter? And for a week, I thought I couldn't without it, until my third strenuous read of the 12-language "manual" in 2 pt font, where I finally ran across the rather simple way to switch modes without the app. I needed to search around online for a better manual and found a better one for the app. But it is all to ridiculously complex for some thing I thought I could take out of a box and ride. After taking it on a short trip, 1.5 miles each way' it used 37% of the power. No way will it go 19 miles at 19 mph! I realized that one had to go very slow to get any real distance out of it. The "ECO" mode goes around 8 mph. I will be testing the same trip with the different modes and will come back and post them. I bought it to make a 5-6 mile round trip and I am genuinely worried that it will make it. If it doesn't, I may return it despite the hassle. Also, I'm a senior, and I seriously recommend using all knee and elbow and wrist pads. I took a spill when the small solid front wheel didn't want to go up onto a driveway lip. Owie owie owie. Could have been hurt badly - got lucky. The wheels on this thing are solid, which I thought was a good thing because they would not get punctured. The downside is the rough ride - really can't ride it on uneven side walks or even bumpy roads. Too dangerous for busy roads... Next time I'll get bigger tires that are pneumatic. I don't need to habitually worry about punctures where I live now as opposed to spending most of my life in New Mexico where goat-heads lay in waiting for bicycle tires. Also, I'll spend a bit more for a more powerful, long-lasting battery. addendum 09-21-24 Okay I took it out on the trip I had in mind when I bought it. Given the poor battery performance when set on "S" and going 19mph, I started out in "ECO" mode which gives you a max speed of 8 mph. This is actually not terrible, as it feels leisurely but not as slow and boring as walking. I kept it on ECO for the whole 3.1 miles one way, except for putting it on "S" mode (the fastest) when trying to cross wide highways that have crossing buttons but don't give enough time to cross. 8 mph not fast enough to get across entire highway. Took another spill trying to avoid a sidewalk bump; tried to steer onto grass to avoid sidewalk bump but alas I didn't see the hole in the grass and I went flying. I had all the padding I previously mentioned, than goodness, and that was great, but I landed on my hip and it hurts like hell when I try to walk on it. Didn't hurt the rest of the way home on scooter. Only when I try to walk. But I digress (if only to warn that these things are not really safe to use without 100% attention, caution, and padding). But here is what you probably want to know: Going 3 miles in ECO used very little power. When I left my destination, there was 88% power left. This gave me the confidence to increase to mode "D" (11mph peak) in safe spots, but ECO 8mph is a comfortable speed if you aren't in a hurry, and fallen at this speed would also not be as big a deal as flying off the thing at 19mph! That being said, when I turned down the flat smooth street 1-1/2 from home I used the S mode to go 19 mph for a while, but I have to say slower speeds feel safer. This is counterintuitive for me, because I thought more speed would be more stable. Not really, there is more forward momentum but the slightest slip could flip the thing and you with it. If I had this to do over, I would spend more on more power and pneumatic tires. And the best protective gear I can find. Maybe it's worth saving for an electric bike. ... show more
