These are lovely blinds; they look good, operate smoothly. Love the fact that you can pull them down from the top as well as up from the bottom, allowing light but maintaining privacy. They are easy to hang and come with everything you need. But be aware ... I ordered 2 x 35" but they came in at 35.25" because of the top hanging bracket with plastic on the ends making it slightly wider than the blinds themselves. I was trying to fill a space continuously and the extra 1/2" of length between them caused problems so I had to take the plastic ends off to make them fit (last photo). The fact they are slightly bigger than they state is my only reason for dropping a star. It would have helped if they said in the measurements the bracket at the top is actually and extra .25" bigger. Don't do what I did and allow yourself more space. Other than that, they are lovely and I'm really happy with them. Hope this helps.

For a few years now, I have been installing top-down / bottom-up honeycomb blinds almost exclusively on all of my windows, occasionally dressing them up further with a curtain. The top-down feature has become a staple, making it easy to let in more light while preserving some privacy. Also, I like the honeycomb design to add even just a little extra insulation especially for the hot summers. It is nice that they can be raised and lowered easily, just by pulling on the bar you want to move and the friction point is easy. This shade accomplishes all that I wanted. Installation was super easy - 4 screws and two clips. Snap snap! My location for this shade is in my garage where the shade will be open always ... except when leaving town and not wanting things quite so visible from outside. The grey color matches my flooring and seems to be very good for repelling dust. The fabric itself is okay and the reason a 4 rather than a 5.

It blocks the light (I might have needed to get a little wider shade as some light sneaks around the sides). It is easy to open and close. I gave it one star off as the underside of the top is lined with Mylar/aluminum looking material; not a big deal when the top portion is up but if you have the top pulled down that’s what you see (looks cheap). As with most products nowadays, the direction as subpar. Pictures included with the directions are small making it more difficult to discern. Someone who has installed these type of curtains before probably is fine but for newbies it’s takes a bit extra time.

This is an absolutely wonderful product for my home. I love this shade. It mounted so effortlessly that it was like magic. I used a small box as a spacer to position the bracket on the top of the window frame. Two screws in each bracket were plenty. The screws are included of course. The shade just clicked into the brackets and it was up. Following instructions was a bit tricky and a magnifying glass helped. It took a bit of puzzling but I figured out how to put the little handles on the blind. It wasn't difficult once I got it figured out. The blind works perfectly. It really does a marvelous job of darkening the room. I mean it is very close to a complete blackout, with only a very thin line at the top where it attaches. This shade glides up, with the option of the top coming down which is very cool. The description says it also will insulate from cold and heat. I am delighted to know this as that window is a cold spot on the north side of my home. It will be wonderful to have a little layer of insulation there this winter. I am so happy with this blind that I just ordered more of them.
