This mannequin appears to be of very good quality. The wide base is heavy enough to keep it from toppling over and is was easy to assemble. (It is also easy to take apart and pack up for travel if needed.) The form itself is extremely lightweight foam with a black velvet type covering. I don't think this would be ideal for a seamstress since it is a very petite and narrow form, but it is really nice for a display. Although the seller indicated this is adjustable, I don't see how you can adjust anything on this, unless you completely remove one of the solid metal poles. That would make this very short, but then you could easily display it on a table instead of the floor. ... show more

Despite being lightweight, it can handle my xl denim jacket pretty well. The torso is nicely covered with velvet and neck is completely covered. Quality workmanship. The base plate is nice and heavy and came with a protective plastic on it so no scratches or imperfections. I kept it covered only to transport it but I am super happy with this. Can be used to display clothes but also would be perfect for jewelry too. Definitely worth the price! Super easy to put together - screw the poles together, screw base on and put torso on pole with a tension screw. I would highly recommend this for displaying clothes and for jewelry. ... show more

The assembly is easy, and I love the base; it is sturdy and wide enough to sustain the top but not heavy. The top is light. The bottom has a rubber to prevent it from moving. The texture of the suede fabric is ideal to showcase jewelry. I have several mannequins; this one is good.
