I have an Ethan Allen wooden frame with pillows sofa. When I was younger it was not a problem getting up from a sitting position. In my young-at-heart age, it has been difficult to stand up after sitting for awhile. I bought 2 sets of these 4" blocks for the 8 feet on this sofa. Got this so we can easily adjust massage table heights between staff members. Legs slide off of lifts when the table was bumped. I think there needs to be some sort of rubber/silicone grip pad instead of plastic ridges on the top. I’d advise using this product on a heavier piece of furniture or something that will not get bumped. ... show more
