I use this every 2 weeks on my pit mix who sheds very bad. It smells good and definitely decreases the amount of shedding in the days after his bath. He has sensitive skin and it doesn’t bother him at all. It lathers well so a little goes a long way.

This product can be diluted in water up to 10 times, and for your pets coat health you should dilute it. That being said any shampoo on a dog's coat should be minimized to preserve natural oils. Diluting this 3 to 1 in a standard zap sprayer you are unlikely to use all of the diluted soap, and the instructions literally say not to store diluted shampoo and to use it immediately after diluting. Therefore, for most applications this product in the size that it is offered is far too much product. Unless washing droves of dogs frequently it's much smarter to buy a smaller bottle. My dogs like this set so much, they jumped in the shower and took their own bath. I wish! Actually my wife gave both of my dogs a bath with the shampoo and conditioner over two weeks ago and both of their coats felt very soft and smelled nice without a lot of perfume smell. So, I say this is a winner as it lathers up nice, rinses off pretty easily, and leaves my dogs smelling nice and not stinky. My dogs are shiny coat type dogs, just fuzz balls, so I'm not sure how shiny it might leave your dog's coat. As for dryness or itching, my male was chewing on his leg before the bath which is highly unusual for him and after the bath, over 2 weeks ago, not a single chew on his leg. I bought this during this current FURPOCALYPSE. We have an Aussie, and he sheds like a madman. I bought this shampoo and a rake like brush. I'm not sure which did the best job, but the shedding is down (not gone, but he is an Aussie).
