Firstly, very attractive white chairs. We also bought a white tulip table which they go very well with. Easily assembled, surprisingly sturdy and very comfortable to sit on. They should serve us well for many years.

They are super nice. They are definitely the most affordable dining chairs I've seen. My one complaint is that due to the color it is very easy to get food or dirt stains. When I was assembling it, it immediately picked up dirt from the floor which I was not able to clean up with just rubbing alcohol. But I did remove it with a harsher cleaner and some good scrubbing. The wood comes unstained and unsealed, so you can stain it if you like. It came a week early, which was a pleasant surprise. Very easy to assemble. Although it did not come with instructions it was very straightforward. All you do is screw the legs/base onto the seat with washers and bolts. It comes with a small wrench (and the nuts and bolts) to help you attach the legs to the seat, however I had to also use my crescent wrench since some of the bolts on the legs were kind of loose. I strongly recommend. As for comfort, they are ok. They definitely don't hurt and they aren't awkward to sit in, but the the seats are uncushioned plastic so what can you expect. They remind me of the chairs that they have in schools. They kinda feel like that. I plan on making seat cushions for mine. These are sturdy, stylish chairs that are surprisingly roomy. They are a great value HOWEVER, they do not come pre-assembled as stated! The first chair took over an hour to assemble, with no directions. I contacted the company and they sent directions electronically. By the time I got to the 4th chair, I had it down to 25 minutes. Here are some tips: you will need a socket or crescent wrench 🔧 and an Allen wrench. Put the legs on the metal cage first, then attach it to the seat. The chair brackets are marked, "A", "B" and "C"; there are two "C" brackets that go on the back legs, facing IN. The "A" bracket goes in the front left hole, facing OUT and the "B" bracket goes in the right front hole facing OUT. Leave all screws slightly loose until the chair is together then tighten all. I love the style and quality of these chairs; it was well worth the extra work! ... show more

I absolutely love these chairs! Assembly was super quick and easy — within minutes they were ready to use.     • Persistent Bolt Issues Make These Chairs Unusable

Stylish but Fundamentally Flawed - Constant Bolt Failures Render Chairs Unsafe and Frustrating I purchased a set of these Furmax dining chairs based on their appealing modern design. While they do initially look nice and fit the mid-century aesthetic, their functionality is severely compromised by a critical and persistent flaw: the bolts connecting the legs to the seat constantly come loose, even after multiple attempts to tighten them securely. This is not a minor inconvenience; it's a significant safety concern. On multiple occasions, while simply sitting normally, I've felt the chair become wobbly as the bolts begin to detach. This instability makes the chairs feel unreliable and potentially dangerous, as there's a constant fear of them collapsing. I have diligently tried to tighten the bolts using the provided Allen wrench, ensuring they are as snug as possible. However, this is clearly not a long-term solution, as they invariably loosen again after a short period of use. This repeated maintenance makes these "pre-assembled" chairs feel like a constant DIY project just to keep them functional enough to sit on. For chairs intended for regular use in a dining, kitchen, or living room setting, this level of instability is unacceptable. The primary purpose of a chair is to provide stable and safe seating, and these Furmax chairs fail to deliver on that fundamental requirement. While the design might be aesthetically pleasing, the poor construction and the recurring issue with loosening bolts make these chairs a significant disappointment and, frankly, a waste of money.
