It has an okay amount of 4-way stretch with okay recovery. It is not the soft stretchy cotton Lycra (like performance) that I like making leggings out of. This was more similar to t-shirt cotton Lycra I would say. It worked okay for mask bands through.

I love this fabric, it is a very high quality cotton, and not cheap at all, the stretch is great, I made a skirt with this fabric, and I love it, it still looks the same as the day i made it even though I have worn it a lot, fabric does not pill, hasn't stretched all out super soft and durable with just the right amount of stretch.

I have ordered this several times in both weights and various colors. I have used it for t-shirts, yoga pants, and panties (including the bands).....all turned out great. I do size up for t-shirts, because it does hug the body. But that is a personal choice. It washes great and I have not noticed any fading.
