Description

The Furhaven Indoor/Outdoor Playpen Tent allows pets to play in a contained area; features removable top, 360-degree open-mesh view, and zippered side entrance. The pet playpen keeps your pets safely with you while at the park, beach, and inside or outside your home. Easy-open, pop-up assembly and ground stakes for a safe, secure play area. Playpen folds back easily into the included carry bag. Large open-air mesh screened windows provide deluxe 360-degree view, and lots of fresh air. Top is fully zippered and removable, and the six side-panels form a circular shape. A large zippered side-panel entrance has a fabric tie-up letting pets easily enter and exit. IMPORTANT: DO NOT leave pet unattended while in use. This product is for short-term containment only, NOT a kennel or a crate. Only use on flat, level surface; if included stakes are not used with product, interior weights are suggested to help prevent shifting by larger or more active animals. Easy to clean; just spot-wash with cloth and mild detergent, towel or air dry

My kittens absolutely love this tent! I bought this tent when I brought my kittens home so they could be contained at nighttime for the first week or so, now my babies go in there to sleep and play on their own. The bad part is, a seam by the zipper popped then both zippers came off within the first week of having it. I was able to get the zipper back on but the big hole in the seam obviously didn't help contain the babies when needed. I reached out to the company and they sent out a replacement tent within 24hours of me making a complaint. This tent has a 90day guarantee, so be sure to file a complaint if you have issues. ... show more

This pet playpen was perfect for my needs. I have a small cat and I bought this so when I travel to visit family or friends, I can use this to make sure she's safe. I also use it outdoors when I'm working on a project and she wants to be with me, but I'm focused on the project and don't want her to get into trouble (she's a housecat). I also used it when I babysat an un-litter-trained kitten. It was super easy for me to assemble and take down. Don't give up - it's really easy once you figure it out. And it folds up to a great small, easy to carry, size. Take note: I bought this, it was not given to me to get a five star rating. I hate that. This is a REAL, honest opinion. If you have an energetic puppy or a heavy large dog, you may find this isn't for you. I have a nine-year-old collie mix who's super well behaved so she was fine in the XL one (oh, did I mention I purchased two)? I can totally empathize with those comments about puppies chewing through the mesh, or dogs turning it on its side and rolling down the hill in it (I laughed so hard at that one)! But for the money, which I thought was totally reasonable, this playpen is terrific for the appropriate pet. Of course, I don't think any pet should be left in a playpen or cage for long periods of time. We got the largest size so there’s plenty of room for our kitty to move around, and room for a litter pan and bed. This is for supervised use only. Yes, it can easily be blown over in the wind, and a pet could flip it on the side by jumping on the walls. A cat could rip the screening with its claws. But for the price and the convenience of being able to quickly twist it into a compact, flat shape for storage, it’s just perfect for what we need. If you are looking for something more permanent or durable, or you have a very active pet who likes to jump, this may not be for you. ... show more

I use this pop up pen to contain my foster kittens when I'm cleaning their primary living area - it's quick and easy to set up and gives them enough space to roam around, while still keeping them contained and out of trouble. I do recommend getting a washable mat insert for it as this makes cleanup a snap. Easy to fold up into 5 sections, though I've had difficulty twisting it back into the smaller round shape it needs to be to fit in the storage bag - so I just fold it flat and tuck it behind a cabinet. It isn't ideal, but it works. Great if you need a temporary enclosure for small pets and has held up well so far with our kittens, even when they climb the walls constantly. ... show more

    • Worked well at keeping litter from being tracked

It was easy to unfold but we have yet to be successful at folding it back up. We got it for five foster kittens but they destroyed the zipper after a day and all escaped. We ended up keeping it and using it for the litter boxes instead of the kittens. It did a good job keeping the litter from getting everywhere even when five kittens decided to scratch all at once. They also liked jumping on the top so we had to cut the top door off completely so they would stop collapsing the whole thing on each other and get stuck. We wouldn”t order again for kittens but it might be okay for younger ones who aren’t climbing and running yet. Or older animals that just need a quiet place to be contained for medical or potty training reasons. ... show more

I bought this for my cat, Preshi who had surgery to remove a growth and a tumor to recover in. She was very happy to have a safe place to sleep and could still be with the family. My poor baby had cancer and we had to put her down on September 26th so we decided to put it away. It's quite hard to fold and resistant to being folded. You need a lot of arm strength.
