This a a fabulous stool! It is very heavy but elegant! I ordered 2 but they came 2 different days. I am assuming from 2 different places. The first must have been a return. No directions and the bolts were just laying in the bottom of the box which was pretty beat up. Since some parts were already assembled, it was easy to figure out. The second was wrapped so well that it took long to get it out of the box than it did to put it together. Despite all that, I love them!

I looked at many different chair options, but they were either too tacky or too cheap—until I found this metal-legged bar stool.
