I bought this because I was getting a new puppy and needed a second food stand. This was easy to set up. The dishes are wide and not as deep as other dishes and they are not as heavy duty/thick as I'd prefer, but they will due. I can say though that the stand is pretty sturdy — since this one is taller than the stand I already owned, my older dog got this new one, but as all puppies are, she likes to get into this one, but it doesn't move when she jumps against it. ... show more

I had been on the hunt for a 10 to 12 inch elevated feeder and couldn't believe how hard it was to find! Why are most elevated feeders made for small dogs that are already close to the ground?! Anyway, I decided on this one and it is super sturdy and looks great! It was very easy to assemble. At first it was wobbly, but then I realized there are little turnable feet on the bottom of each leg that you can adjust to make it even. This is a fantastic elevated dog feeder! We’ve had it for over a week & it have been perfectly steady & hasn’t moved at all! I seldomly write reviews, so that should let you know how good it is! We have a VERY EXCITABLE black lab and when we just had two tin bowls they would slide all over. We placed the new feeder against the wall and it’s great! Also, with the rubber they provide the tin bowls never move and never make a sound! The bowls are very large, perfect for our big guy! ... show more

I bought two, I wanted something that looked nice as they are in my open concept kitchen-dining area. They look nice but the buys on top are rusting from the dogs splashing water when they drink. I’m going to buy some black nail polish. I’m not sure about sturdiness, mine are against a wall, otherwise I think my dogs might knock them over. The bowls are not a standard size. I want to buy extras and have ordered a couple different types and nothing fits right. I would order replacement bowls from the manufacturer but I don’t see them offered on Amazon. The bowls could use a little wider ring/edge to make them more stable anyway. ... show more
