I got different lick mats for my 3 cats raw food. The cats have troubles getting the food out of this one and since only one cat does a better job we only have her use it. She seems to really like it so I think it feels good and it slows her down. But she can’t get all the food out so then some food is wasted. It also is too big and flimsy for the top rack dishwasher which is the only way I want to get it cleaned. It takes up way too much space in the dishwasher. ... show more

The Lickimat was recommended by my dog behavioral consultant to use as a distraction to decrease her nuisance barking. It works very well for that. Food spreads quite easily on it but cleaning is a different matter. Food gets stuck in the little nooks and crannies. It is not dishwasher safe so it is tedious to clean if your looking for perfect.
