I picked this up after my cat decided the gap behind the dryer was her new favorite hideout and I spent an hour searching the house while my daughter stood in the driveway calling her name like a missing person's report. I put one on my dog's collar and now I just check my phone before I panic." I ordered this product while my cat was still wedged behind the dryer, purring. The no-SIM setup means you're not getting live real-time tracking like a cellular GPS collar would give you. Location data updates when the tracker comes within Bluetooth range of an Apple device on the Find My network. In practice, that means I can see where she was last detected, follow updates when she's near someone's iPhone, and use the proximity sound alert when she's close but hiding somewhere in the house. For my needs—knowing which neighbor's garage she's sleeping in, not tracking her across town—that's enough. The hardware is lightweight. My cat weighs about as much as a loaf of bread, and the tracker clipped to her collar without bothering her or making her do that sideways crawl cats do when they're annoyed by something on their neck. The IP68 waterproofing has held up through rain and one unfortunate incident with a tipped-over water bowl.

These GPS trackers have been a helpful and useful find. They do a good job of locating and tracking our pets. The trackers were easy to set up and place on our pet's collars. They are lightweight and compact, so they aren't burdensome to wear and don't weigh them done. The trackers were easy to set up and pair with my phone. They do a good job of providing the location of my pets when I can't locate them. The trackers look like they are put together well and feel strong and durable.
